HyperX Cloud NOT for PS4 Gamers

Owned 3 different pairs Of HyperX Cloud's 1 & 2 to know the sound quality of this headset is TRASH on console. The 1st Cloud's I owned sounded very terrible, washed out & low. These are the lowest headsets I've owned since the Sony Gold's... I have had too many headsets in my past to know the sound quality on HyperX can not compete. I even bought the HyperX Cloud 2's hoping the sound card that came with it would at least improve the headset. 1st off... If you don't use the sound card withtin the 1st 5 seconds of turning the system on, IT WILL NOT WORK. Guaranteed fact for everyone who owned these, plus reviews confirm this. By the way, the headset sounds better plugged into the controller than plugged to the sound card they give you... CRAZY HUH. Idk if these headsets would sound any better with Astro Pro Mix Amp Tr, they should, But these are the WORST headset sound quality BY FAR without any sound amplifiers. If you are a skillful gamer looking to hear footsteps, look somewhere else. These are comfortable tho :D

These headset's aren't what I truly expected. The good: Great comfort even after several hours of gaming. Very well suited for people with big or small ears/heads etc. The sound quality is crisp & AMAZING. You can hear every footstep around you in FPS games. Mic quality is very crisp & clear.
The bad: Surround sound is very high depth and pitchy, sounds like you are losing your hearing. I suggest staying with stereo mode. The WORST: Quality of PX 24's is HORRENDOUS. 1st pair snapped along the sides where you adjust the mic. I had warranty so I picked up a brand new pair. New pair started getting tears within 2 months. I am exceptionally delicate with my things, ESPECIALLY headphones. I have had beats for 4 years now no problems. Never broke any headphones. The build quality is the worst of the worst. Do not recommend.
