Nice Cover

This is a very nice cover. High quality construction, looks very professional, adds some good extra padding for packing the Surface Pro in a bag/briefcase or just for carrying it loose. The kickstand works well but does not have as great a range for positioning as the Surface Pro's own kickstand, which can't be used while this cover is on. This does fit the new Surface Pro ("new" as of Jan 2018 or earlier). It also accommodates the keyboard if you purchase that for your Surface Pro, and it has holders for pens if you use those too.

Brings in your older system!

I bought the Connect to incorporate my existing A/V system (a traditional receiver with two speakers and a subwoofer, connected to a 300-disc CD changer, Blu-ray player, 5-disc DVD carousel, and the "cable box") into my Sonos speaker system. This permits me to now listen to my music library from the A/V system (CDs, DVDs, music channels from the cable box) on the existing A/V system's speakers AND on any of the Sonos speakers I now have throughout the house. This is great because before I was limited to listening to my large collection of CDs in just one room where my CD changer and A/V setup was located.
I had been looking for a wireless speaker system, but Sonos is like manna from heaven because it is so much more than a simple wireless speaker system! So, I got exactly what I wanted for a wireless solution to extend my A/V system, but also everything that Sonos offers (its universe of music stations/selections, including your Pandora and other similar accounts).
Two things you want to make sure you understand before you get the Connect, however: 1) that you will actually be able to plug it into your A/V system in a way that lets you listen to whatever you want to through your A/V system. For example, your receiver will need an available line-out connection to push music into the Connect and to all of the Sonos speakers, AND you will need an available line-in connection to be able to use your A/V's speakers as part of the whole system (the latter is not required for functionality if you don't care about using it this way); and 2) the connect cannot actually control your A/V receiver or components - for example, I have to physically push play on my CD changer to start it up and the A/V receiver has to be configured properly for the components sound to be routed to the line-out connection going to the Connect. For these reasons, I strongly recommend you thoroughly review Sonos' online manual and its set-up descriptions to make sure it will work with your system the way you want it to.
Overall, a great product!

Sonos is a great "wireless" speaker system

My review title has "wireless" in quotes because each component must be plugged into an AC outlet. If you look at most (if not all) of the Sonos advertising, it might make you think these units are completely untethered - but they are not. But that's okay, because these things could not last on battery power, so the AC cord is a not-so-evil necessity. As for the speakers connecting to your music sources and to each other - yes, they are fully wireless in that sense.
The Sonos Bridge is in a way the heart of the Sonos system. I received mine free as part of a Sonos promotional period where you would get one (for free) if you bought one of the speakers. So, that was awesome because I saved $50. So if you are still exploring systems, take some time because maybe another promotion will come out. I've seen three different Sonos and/or Best Buy Sonos-related promotions so far, and taken advantage of two of them: one was the free Bridge with speaker purchase; the other was 5x Best Buy rewards points (!) with any in-store purchase (I bought the Sonos Connect at $349 under this promotion and got a whopping 1,745 BB Rewards Points - HOLLA!). I am building my system piece-by-piece to maximize the BB reward points I can apply to the last component purchase.
But back to the Bridge. The Bridge itself is not exciting, but it is the piece from which you build your system (there is no point in buying the bridge alone - you will need one of the speakers to hear anything). However, the Bridge has a small footprint, which is nice because it is best placed as a neighbor to your cable-modem and wireless router setup. It is not an eye-sore (if you put it someplace where it must be seen), and it is pretty simple in terms of setup and wire connections. The only problem I had initially was that its internal wireless system (it creates its own wireless network to connect to other Sonos components) conflicted with my home wireless network. This caused the Sonos speaker to cut out after a few minutes. Fortunately, my wife found within the Sonos online product manuals that you can change the channel setting for the Sonos wireless network. Once we changed to a different channel, the conflict was gone and it has worked flawlessly every since.
The Sonos speakers sound great (given their size - but far superior to the poor sound quality you get from a tablet, laptop or smartphone), look great, can be put almost anywhere within reach of an AC outlet, and are easily controlled from a smartphone, tablet, laptop/computer, or can be muted or volume-adjusted at the speaker itself (also great if you don't have your controller "in-hand" and need to change volume or mute it). So go out and get your Bridge and start building your Sonos system!

What's great about it: Easy to set up, good sound for speaker footprint
What's not so great: Initial set up hurdles (but can be overcome)

Great Multi-Room Sound Option and Device Upgrade

When I think of wireless I think of "no wires," at all. And if you look at all of their advertising pictures, all you see is the component, sitting nicely on a table, counter, or shelf. But, these things are AC / electrical cord powered, so you do need to run the electrical cord from the device to an AC outlet. Once you know that, then you are ready to adopt these Sonos components/speakers as like one of your own children. These things are great, given their size, sound, appearance, and their (so far) 95% seamless operation. The only problem I had originally was that the speaker would cut out after about 4 1/2 minutes of playing. I was getting ready to return them when my wife dug into Sonos' online user manual and discovered that you could change the channel upon which the Sonos wireless network operates. What was happening is that the Sonos wireless network (it creates its own network for its own devices to link to each other) was interfering with our native home wireless network. But, we switched the Sonos wireless channel and voila! It has worked flawlessly ever since. This system is phenomenal in that: it can play different music on every different Sonos speaker in the system, or play all the same music, or play any different combination that you choose; it can read the music library from your computer or other device connected to your home network; with the Sonos Connect (which I also have) you can hook up your traditional home stereo system (so I now can play from my 300-disc CD changer, which requires some initial button-pushing on the receiver/CD changer each time I want to do this, but that's not a big downside); the components themselves are attractive and have a small footprint; the sound is great for speakers of this size (don't expect it to sound like a full-size speaker system, but it is exponentially superior to the poor sound you get out of a tablet, laptop, or smart phone - which that alone almost makes it worthwhile); and the controller app / software is pretty easy to use once you get used to it (which takes about 10 minutes and some playing around with the various functions).
Another note: my family is buying a new-construction home and there was an option for whole-home music to be built in, but that would have cost us around $3,300 and not provide different music on different speakers (the latter option was $4,000). Sonos, on the other hand, will provide us music in the same number of rooms (4 - but that includes my hi-fi receiver and speakers already owned as 1 of the rooms) with the ability to play different music in each room, for about $1,046 (actually less because I made purchases during promotional periods so will be applying about $50 worth of Best Buy rewards).
Overall, I am thrilled with this system and recommend it to anyone who wants "whole-home" sound without having to run wires through your walls or have overbearing speakers sitting on stands in corners or hacked into spots in your ceiling.
