I love the fact that this dishwasher runs very quietly - you have to be standing right next to it to know that it's even running; however, it just doesn't hold nearly as many dishes as my old noisier machine. I thought racks were racks, but I do not like these racks at all - especially the top shelf!

We purchased a new Samsung washing machine to take advantage of the recall of newer top-loading washing machines. For a few extra out-of-pocket dollars, we were able to upgrade to a larger machine with a few more bells and whistles. The tub is deeper - so deep that my wife is unable to reach the clothes on the very bottom.

Go generic when selecting water filter

We replaced our water filter because our "smart" refrigerator told us we needed a new one. I could not tell by the taste of our water or color of our ice that we needed a new filter. As a matter of fact, I never changed the filter once in my older fridge that did not come with all the bells and whistles with the newer models and I never had any problems with the water or ice. So if you are going to replace it, save some money and go generic/store brand.

How far should the freezer drawer pull out.
My drawer doesn't open very far, I can barely get a cup into the 2nd icemaker to get ice, and can't get my hand in the small top drawer to pull items out. What are the manufacturer's specs on how far the freezer door and the small top drawer (where the ice bin is) should pull out? thanks! Other that that issue we absolutely love our new fridge.
I do not know what the manufacturer's specs are, but our freezer drawer doesn't seem to open as far as it should. Therefore, I'm sure that's the way it is designed to open. Other than that, we also like our fridge very much!

Opening bottom freezer drawer
Do the top french doors need to be open in order to open the bottom freezer drawer?
Of course not...that would be a waste of time and energy. All doors open separately!

White fridge handles
In the pictures, the white style looks like it has silver/stainless steel handles, for a more modern look. Please verify. This makes a difference in what finish I purchase!
Our handles are white, but they look very nice!
