Still a lot of blood and gore, but if you like this, it's fine. Danny Trejo fits the part and it's always good to see Michelle Rodriquez, but to see Charlie Sheen,(using his official name Carlos Estevez) as President of the U.S. and Mel Gibson as a global terrorist escaping into Outer Space is a bit far-fetched.

Action packed adventure showing John Wayne as a hero dealing with oil rig fires and poisonous wells. Has a bit of a love story between him and Vera Miles (Man Who Shot Liberty Valance) and between Jim Hutton (Green Berets) and Katharine Ross. Has the usual John Wayne posse also (Bruce Cabot, J.C. Flippen, and Edward Faulkner)
Although none of the original cast is a part of this movie, the pairing of Robert Shaw and Harrison Ford works well. The movie has great special effects and humor .
