This product is good, but you must download software for the spotlight features and all of the extra features that come along with this presenter. In most work environments or school environments for that matter you will not be able to download the software on each computer you use let alone even one. Without the software you essentially have a very expensive remote that can go forward and backwards during a presentation, but that is it. Everything else is amazing, but this was a deal-breaker for me. I returned it and bought the Logitech R800 with green laser pointer.

Does the Job but cheap plastic

The wall mounts do their job and I would say they do their job very well. My only complaint is that the locking screw that connects the wall bracket to the speaker simply tightened right through the cheap plastic. I was simply turning it with no resistance whatsoever and the screw went through the other side. I have included pictures. I am a little disappointed at the cheap quality, but since I already had the brackets on the wall and was able to make it work I decided to deal with it. I would still recommend the wall brackets with that caveat to be careful about the cheap plastic. For a higher end system though you may want to look at something more expensive.

Works as described and was a quicker install than I thought it would be. Honestly had it not been for my own negligence of not having a tester for my fuses it would have been even faster. You will need this for the camera to go into 'Parking Mode' where it detects passer-bys and hits to the car while parked.

Bought the hardwire kit so it turns on when I turn the car on and goes into parking mode when the car is turned off. Had to adjust the sensitivity settings as bumps and potholes were making it go off constantly. Not really an issue but was kind of annoying sometimes. The only other thing for me is in parking mode it always goes off when I shut the door, but again it is a minor hindrance to me. Other than that the quality is amazing and I am so happy with my purchase. I also bought the rear-view camera that goes along with it. All together an amazing set and can save you in the case of an accident.

Had to replace an old backpack whose arm strap started to come apart. Love this bag even if only for the fact that the inside is yellow which makes it extremely easy to see what is in each pocket. Can I use this devise with more than one computer without having to download software to each computer? I just purchased one and downloaded the software to my home computer. However, this is not the computer that I will be using to do the presentation.
In order to use the "Spotlight" and related features you must download the software to each computer you intend to use it on. Otherwise you just get forward and backward during presentations. It is unfortunate as most corporate computers will not allow you to download the software where you need it. Creates quite a hassle. I ended up returning mine and purchasing the Logitech R800 with green laser pointer.

I cannot install the sw on my corparate laptop. What functions does the device have without the SW? How does the pointer look like? I would like to use it in presentations which are also shown via Skype
I bought this as well and ended up returning it because of this issue. If you cannot install the software (which most corporations will not allow you to do at work) then you lose all the special functionalities of the remote (what you essentially paid all that money for). It essentially becomes a very expensive remote to move backwards and forwards throughout a presentation. The software is amazing when you are able to install it, but alas most are unable to in their work environments. I personally returned it and bought the Logitech R800 that has a green laser pointer. A lot cheaper and no software hassles.
