I love this thing more than I thought I would. I had a Samsung Chromebook that was fairly old and was looking to get a new one. I held out for the app-friendly 2-1 version and debated whether to spend the extra money, but I'm glad I did. The screen is much clearer, and I am able to use it outside, although not a backlit screen. The screen is a little taller than my previous one, so it took a little getting used to, since I liked the size of my older one, but I like it, now.
I don't use it as a tablet much, since I like typing on a keyboard, but it's nice to have the option to open it completely up and turn it around to set it on my counter while I'm cooking. I love how easy it is to do a screen cap with the stylus, also. I expect I will explore the apps and tablet usage more as I get used to it.
I'm rarely without access to wi-fi, so this new version really does everything I need it to at much less the cost of a PC 2-1.
The only thing that surprised me was that it does not have regular USB port. It's USB-C (2 of them). A quick search provided some easy converters so I could use the dongles and chargers I had, so it ended up being a non-issue.
I did get a great deal with the trade-in of an old laptop, so I was happy with the price I ended up with. Full price was a little more than I wanted to spend, but now that I have it, it would have been worth it.

I just replaced my older LG with a Samsung Galaxy Luna, and so far, I've been very pleased, It was easy to set up, and the screen is very clear and sharp. Predictive text is very good, and the buttons are a good size. I'm not a heavy data user, but other reviews seem to support a good response for streaming. I would definitely buy another Samsung phone.

First jump into BluRay

We purchased this, because our Roku was several years old, and we had received some BluRay discs. This was a cost-effective way to upgrade. Other than the user learning curve of things being organized differently while you are looking at titles, it's been a fairly easy transition. The discs play beautifully, and the streaming process is good. It does seem to hog a bit more bandwidth, so we often have to wait for it to connect. I'm not sure how much of that is our ISP or Wi-Fi signal. We try to keep things off Wi-Fi unless we are using them to keep the crowding down, but this unit still struggles at first. Again, that may not be the unit's fault. The picture will occasionally muddy a bit, then clear, I assume due to the streaming signal (not a techie, so that may not be the correct assumption). Overall, we are happy, but are wondering if we need to upgrade our Wi-Fi to keep up.

We purchased this laptop to replace my daughter's 3 year-old laptop that had seen better days. Overall she likes it (high school student). It works well for what she needs. She did feel that the AMD processor caused things to run a little slower, but not bad. The touchpad is lower at the bottom and inclines to be flush with the surface at the top. This was probably an intentional design feature, but she is used to a pad with a tactile shift so you know when you are going off-pad. She has found herself scrolling and realizing she was not on the pad anymore. It's not necessarily a negative, just a learning curve to get used to a different design. These couple of things are nitpicky, but worth mentioning in case they were important to someone researching the unit. Overall, she is pleased with it, especially for the price. If you're on a budget and don't need one for heavy gaming, it's fine.
