just when you think they update Doyle...

they turn back the clock and almost redifine him.. The asset Moffat & Gattis created in the present day BBC Sherlock Holmes stories is they make him approachable to todays generation.. Not just the setting/todays time period, but the story telling, whipcrack dialogue and camera 'tricks' they utilize to show how Sherlock 'works'.. They then took the present day tim period crutch away and proved they could make it work in Victorion England. With the added swere of making it a natural bridge with Moriarity between Season 3 7 the (when?!?!) Season 4..
