Verified Purchase:Yes
Bought for my son's laptop and followed steps to install but it will not play blue ray discs. Called Best Buy. They said call Asus. Asus could not get it to work. Said to call Best Buy and have Geek Squad install it. I called Best Buy back. They said I did not buy support on new product and doubted as to whether Geek Squad would help me. Planning on malking the 35 mile trip to Best Buy to see if I can get help. Also, could not get player into simple plastic stand with out a lot of force. Did not want to supply that force so stand is useless.
What's great about it: Fairly Quiet
What's not so great: Can not get it to play blue ray dvds
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
