one of my classics with advances of technology, this could probably be redone, but David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly would be hard to beat. Great on BluRay
This release contains every episode from season two of The Last Ship, the post-apocalyptic series that follows the crew of a naval destroyer as they try to survive after a pandemic wipes out most of the world's population.
Used to think that this scenario was too far fetched, but nowadays, anything is possible. Of course, very patriotic and take is US view. I would hope they would add some other services - Army, Marines, Air Force to the cast, while keeping the ship the focus. Like that that they added a new female lead "meagan ??" - from the Last Seeker. BluRay does so much better in picture and the sound on my system.
I liked that they tried to fill in the "in-between" years. Lena Headley did great job and female terminator was a good spin - though I still see FireFly when I see her, but if they would have done more than 2 seasons, that might have changed. Pick this one up to replace the DVD copy - excellent on BluRay
This modern twist on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's classic detective novels follows recovering drug addict and NYPD consultant Sherlock Holmes (Jonny Lee Miller) as he throws himself into the art of criminal investigations. By his side is Dr. Joan Watson (Lucy Liu), a "sober companion" hired by Homes' dad in hopes of keeping the famous sleuth from falling into old habits. This set contains every episode from season three of the series.
I love the twist on how the characters are portrayed - since season 1. Sherlock a recovering drug addict; Watson and Moriarity a woman. Wish they would keep Moriarity more involved, even if not showing but at least in dialogue or in "related events". Only four stars because they should put this on BluRay immediately. Season 1 from 2012 is the only one in this format.
love James Bond movies, even the bad ones, but this one gets back to first ones - Sean Connery versions. Grittier and tough. BluRay quality is always good for me - I don't score that much as I do the movie itself, but sound really came out excellent on this one on my system.
The movie was good, though agree with most critics - but not as strongly, that Lex should have stayed truer to comic version and more depth into how he knew what he did before going into ship. It had to be a dark version, as Superman died, and this was more from Batman's perspective - which is dark. BluRay was good and the extended edition was better IMHO

Love this wireless mouse, better than latest release - really don't need BluTooth for the xtra cash to get it. This is just perfect . Fits my larger hands like a glove
