Great low cost washer

My old washing machine suddenly decided it didn't want to spin anymore, and I couldn't see the point in spending a small fortune for a repairman to come out to take a look at it, and then spend another small fortune to fix it. I needed a new machine quickly and Best Buy can always deliver in that respect. I chose this inexpensive Samsung model because I had already purchase a higher-end Samsung a few months earlier for the house we'll be moving to soon. I just needed something I could count on and didn't cost too much for the few months I'd need it in my current location. This fit the bill. I've not been disappointed. It's much quieter than my deceased machine as well. It works really well, and would have been a good choice even if I didn't necessarily need to watch every penny at the time

I purchased the Galaxy View about 4 months ago and wanted to use it for awhile before I rated it. I read the reviews from others before I made the decision to buy, as I always do, and have not been disappointed. It fills the void between using a full size desktop and a small laptop, for those times that you want a bigger screen than a small laptop will afford, and sitting up at a desk for the bigger screen. Great for watching TV using the apps in locations where you have no cable connection also. Got a good deal on it at the time as well.

I purchased this DVD for my husband because he's a big fan of Western movies. I never watched it myself because after purchase I realized it was a Quentin Tarantino film, and I personally don't care for his movies. My husband said it was really slow and he didn't like it at all. He requires fast-paced action in the movies he watches or he gets bored. Just his preference, but I'm sure it will never be watched in this household again. A bad choice on my part.

Should have had at least a minimum of written directions in the package. A Quick Start Guide would have been nice. Not everyone is highly tech savvy or clairvoyant. Good movie, but Tom Cruz was a poor choice for the book character Jack Reacher. He's nothing like the book character. I've read every book in the series and never once imagined Cruz in that rule. Was really ticked that he was cast in that role. Bah-humbug to "creative license." It's like casting a minnow to play the role of the shark in "Jaws." Aside from those complaints, it is a good movie if you can be more objective than I am, or if you haven't read the Jack Reacher series of books.

Special effects were great. Made you believe they were really out there in space. Sandra Bullock is an extremely expressive actress. She's fantastic in every role she plays. George Clooney is certainly no slouch either. Sorry he didn't make it back to Earth with Sandra, but that was just one more reason the movie was so riveting.

This is the third Kindle PW I've purchased from Best Buy. The first was for myself about 2 years ago, after having owned 4 Sony Reader models. I love my Sonys, but Sony has pulled out of the eReader market, and the allure of the PW with the built-in light was too hard to resist. Although many other brands of electronic readers have built-in lights, scalable fonts and many other of the same features as the Kindle PW, the Kindle has excelled in combining all the best features (and more) into a great design and moved to the head of the class.
The second PW I purchased was a gift for my sister to replace the clunky Kindle Keyboard model she'd been using (and loving) for years. She loves HER new PW too.
I just purchased a third PW for my daughter who had drifted away from her love of reading due to the increased discomfort of holding and carrying around print books. She has now discovered a new comfort level in the portability and features of the PW, and rediscovered her love of reading.
I read well over 100 books a year and the PW has made it much more comfortable and enjoyable. I would still love to have a physical page turn button. I still miss not having one on the PW. My experience has been that it's MUCH more comfortable and actually easier to read with a physical button. Also, I would like the PW to be capable of direct downloads from lending libraries (just as Sony Readers are). The way it works now is to go online to your library, borrow a book, click download, which sends you to the Amazon site, you sign in and need to click to download from there. More steps than should be necessary, but still not extremely inconvenient in the grand scheme of things. An expansion slot for an SD card for additional storage would be nice also, but not really a big deal. Given time, if Amazon pays close attention to customer feedback, these few shortcomings (if you can even call them shortcomings at all) will be addressed and these (and more) additional desired features will be incorporated into future hardware models and/or firmware updates. Kindle will continue to lead the pack in this digital reading niche.
As an added note, I would recommend purchasing the official Kindle Paperwhite cover as well. It's beautiful, sturdy protection that fits like a glove and adds very little weight and no bulk to the reader.

My husband purchased this DVD and I was shocked at how pricey it was. We love watching nature and animal programs, as do most people I guess. And although this DVD was very interesting and well done, we were a bit disappointed in the fact that we've seen as good, or better watching NatGeo or Animal Planet, et.al. on cable. There was nothing new here. In fact we probably DID see this same production on cable. Nothing wrong with that really. All DVDs out there are eventually shown on TV or cable, but I felt the $25 price tag was excessive. Our fault. No one forced us to buy it. We bought 3 DVDs that day and my husband didn't bother looking at the price tag like I would have when he picked this one up, and I didn't know he picked it up until we checked out. Just one of the perils of leaving your husband loose in a store.

I needed a portable unit that offered a continuous backup option, not just a scheduled time/date backup. This unit does it for me. Set it up and forget it.
