Protect your Kindle Paperwhite in style with this Amazon B007RGEYU2 case that features textured leather material for durability and an attractive look and a form-fitting interior to keep your e-reader secure in place without straps or hinges.
This leather case is great for my Kindle. It's very sturdy, it will turn my Kindle on and off for me, and it smells amazing. I'm just a little worried at times about folding it back behind my Kindle so I can hold it easier without it getting overworn and tearing, but overall, it's awesome.
The sixth season of NYPD Blue makes way for the arrival of Detective Danny Sorenson (Rick Schroder as he goes about filling the shoes of former Detective Bobby Simone (Jimmy Smits). In addition to adjusting to life with Sorenson, the NYPD crew contends with health issues, relationship drama, and their never ending quest to fight crime in the New York City streets.
This collection includes all 22 episodes from the fifth season of the popular police procedural NYPD Blue. The gritty series follows investigators Sipowicz (Dennis Franz) and Simone (Jimmy Smits) as they meet the challenges presented to them by the Joey Salvo homicide. Elsewhere, a rape sting proves more complicating than usual, and a serial killer who targets strippers terrorizes the city.
In this update of Washington Irving's classic tale, Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) wakes up in the 21st century but finds his 18th-century nemesis, the Headless Horseman, has also come along for the ride. After a local sheriff (Clancy Brown) is killed, Crane teams up with Det. Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie) to sort out the mystery and its historical implications, though her supervisor, Capt. Frank Irving (Orlando Jones) is skeptical of all the supernatural shenanigans. And as Season 1 unfolds, these otherworldly events include encounters with menacing demons, frightening explorations of purgatory and impending visits by the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.
Sleepy Hollow is a great show that mixes a lot of legends and folklore together. It's extremely creepy and I wouldn't watch it at night before going to bed!
The popular sitcom's ninth and final season transpires almost entirely during the wedding weekend of Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) and Robin (Cobie Smulders). The series moves to Long Island as the happy couple and married friends Marshall (Jason Segel) and Lily (Allyson Hannigan) and the ever-unlucky at love Ted (Josh Radnor) prep for the big event. The two-day gathering is rife with plenty of familial shenanigans and escapades as the soon-to-be-marrieds deal with problems that include Robin's disagreement with Barney's mother and brother, and Robin and Barney's holy row with the minister who is to officiate the ceremony. On the day of the nuptials, she and the gang contend with a massively hungover groom-to-be and try to concoct one of his---wait for it---legendary Stinson Hangover Fixer Elixirs. The highlight of the season is the addition of the young woman (Cristin Milioti, who was introduced in the Season 8 finale) who would become Ted's bride and the mother of his son and daughter. In the series finale, Ted tells his children the conclusion to the tale of how he and their mother finally became a couple, and the episode also offers details of what the future held for Barney, Robin, Marshall and Lily.
The final season of the show was definitely not the best-it gets kind of old how much takes place in Farhampton waiting for Robin and Barney's wedding, but the ending will make me cry everytime I see it. The special features are great, except that it doesn't make it clear which one of the deleted scenes, if any, is the "Alternate Ending", but I did love how Josh Radnor said that the writers ended the show the way they had told him they would at the beginning.
During the sixth season of this crime drama, Jane (Simon Baker) keeps narrowing down his list of Red John suspects, and at one point he even manages to gather all of the suspects together. An explosion disrupts things, but after 10 years of relentlessly pursuing this very personal case, Jane finally uncovers his wife and daughter's killer. The show then does a two-year jump in time and finds Jane living a serene life on an island, but he's eventually pulled back into using his skills to help solve crimes. However, he's now assisting the FBI instead of the CBI, and he's reporting to Special Agent Dennis Abbott (Rockmond Dunbar). He also works closely with Special Agent Kim Fischer (Emily Swallow), but he refuses to cooperate until they recruit Lisbon (Robin Tunney) to join their team as well.
This collection compiles every episode from the second season of Rookie Blue, a series that followed the exploits of newbie police officers leaning on each other to do their difficult job.
I wish I didn't have to wait a year in between every season to get it on DVD and then have to purchase it online, but this is a great show, in it's 5th season and still good. Again, the DVD doesn't have a "Play All" selection for the episodes.
This collection compiles all the episodes from the debut season of Rookie Blue, a series that focuses on first-year officer Andy McNally ($Missy Peregrym) and the co-workers she befriended during her time in the police academy.
I've loved this show from the first episode. More people should get into it. I hate having to order online, and the DVD doesn't have a selection to "Play All" episodes on a disc.
Compared to the original Kindle, the Paperwhite High Resolution has 62% more pixels for unsurpassed resolution, 25% better contrast touchscreen with built-in light and long battery life. The innovative built-in light evenly illuminates the screen to provide the perfect reading experience in all lighting conditions, even sunlight.
I read a lot and was very skeptical about "giving in" to technology with an e-reader, especially since my eyes tend to get tired looking at a screen and then a friend told me about the Paper White. I didn't believe a screen could feel like paper, but it does, and it's easy to read from.
