Incredible concert on Blu-ray

The video is gorgeous. I was so glad to get the Blu-ray package that came with the 2 audio CDs because I wanted as many of the old songs with Floor Jansen singing as I could get. She is truly amazing during this concert - both her singing and her stage presence - and this is when she was still officially a stand-in after the band fired their previous lead singer Anette. The entire setlist for this show is fantastic. My only complaint is how quick the cuts are from shot to shot, but it seems common these days for recorded concerts to be like that. My audio setup is only 2 speaker stereo, so I can't comment on sound quality, other than the band plays very well. I love the bonus disc as well, especially the documentary "Please learn the setlist in 48 hours." If you are a Nightwish fan, new or old, you should absolutely have this. If you like female-fronted rock/metal bands (and a male bass player who sings lead sometimes too), you also should buy this.

Originally purchased a j5create VGA adapter to connect a second monitor - miserable failure! Fortunately, the computer also has a DVI connection as well as VGA, so I purchased this cable to connect a second monitor. Fantastic, easy, no problems. Wish I would have gone this route to begin with.

Very pleased with the performance so far

I bought this computer to replace a 12 year old Dell Dimension 8200 that had outlived its usefulness. I really wanted Windows 7 after hearing all the complaints about Windows 8 on desktops, plus I use Windows 7 at work and it is very familiar. I made sure to get the i7 rather than the i5 because I'd like to have this computer for a very long time as well.
At this point, my biggest complaint was the mouse and keyboard that came with the computer. I already have a wireless optical mouse that I prefer and the keyboard that was supplied has the new "flat" keys. I had an incredibly hard time typing on those keys and kept hitting the wrong ones. Since my old keyboard has a PS2 connection, not a USB connection, I ended up buying a Belkin PS2 to USB cord and it worked perfectly. My other issue with the computer is really not with the computer itself, it's with Epson for not providing a 64-bit driver for its older Perfection Photo scanners. I can use a 64-bit Epson Expression driver, but my older Epson scanner software won't recognize that driver. In order to continue scanning my slides and negatives, I will have to break down and buy a new scanner. Just be aware that if you're upgrading from Windows XP and your devices are a bit old like mine are, you may end up buying more than just a new computer.

Whether you're a hard-core Dream Theater fan or someone who's never heard the band but has an interest in progressive rock, this is a must see DVD. This show consists of the same set list that Dream Theater used on their "Along For The Ride" tour in 2014. It includes most songs from their most recent (and self-titled album) "Dream Theater". The band also included a celebration of the 20th anniversary of their third album "Awake" by playing all songs from the second half of that album. For the encore, the band paid tribute to their album "Scenes From a Memory" for its 15-year anniversary. All musicians are top-notch and lead vocalist James LaBrie is fantastic throughout the entire evening. Highlights include a performance of "Space Dye Vest", which the band had not ever performed live since it was recorded for "Awake" in 1994, and the addition of an orchestra and chorus made up of students from the Berklee School of Music for some of the songs in the latter part of the show. The video is so clear and the mixing is pretty good - actually a little heavy on keyboard, but I really didn't mind that because keys are often covered up by guitars. I bought the Blu-Ray - may as well go for the better quality!
