Allow you to ofload files to a PC or Mac, relatively sturdy ( It's metal colored but actually made of plastic) and has plenty of capacity for storing sound.
All around, no frills, perfectly acceptable unit. No issues at all. does the job fine.

Yes, it is, it can be set to voice activated.

Do you have a recorder that isn't voice activated? I need to record talking and silence together.
I believe most units, if you look carefully, offer you a switch that lets you choose between voice activated and just recording.
