At a much lower price point than the gh4, this fz1000 can definitely compete for amateur and enthusiast alike photographers to shoot amazing shots and video. The lens has very good reach. Everyone will eventually need a 50mm 1.8 for their photography needs. And this very affordable Rome from Panasonic is perfect. The Leica counterpart is more expensive and I have heard this one holds its own quite well. And after trying it for my gh4 and g7, I couldn't agree more. It really is super quick, sharp and crisp. Handles 4K video very well also. Highly recommend this prime.
