Good fitness tracker, issues talking to my phone

The fitbit charge HR is everything you'd expect from a fitbit; counts steps accurately. The heart rate monitoring is pretty useful, although I just got the fitbit and I imagine over time when I can see my heart rate it will be more useful.
I have a Moto X, second generation, and cannot consistently get the fitbit to talk to my phone. All other bluetooth devices work fine, but for some reason not the fitibt. It is pretty annoying since I would love to update without using my laptop, but the most annoying part is that means the fitbit can't communicate with the phone to tell me when someone is calling or when I got a text.
In terms of the fitbit itself, it works great. The Android app though, I have issues with (although it might just be a compatibility issue with my Moto X)

Does the job, can get pretty close to a car seat

This does a decent job of holding the tablet in place. It attaches easily and stays in place. My problem has more to do with the fact that my daughters car seat (she is 2) is large enough that is placed her feet close enough to the mount that she could kick it. And oh man, once she realized that, it was quite the game. Once she applied enough pressure she could move the mount, even in a locked position. Probably works great for older kids.
