Shadow of Mordor is an excellent game. You all have heard that the mechanics are a mix of arkham asylum combat and assassin's creed climbing, but the game makes these mechanics it's own. It is just plain fun running around Mordor killing Orcs. The nemesis system of Orc hierarchy is genuis, it keeps you highly involved in the game. The Orcs move up in the hierarchy based on their deeds (such as killing you) or your manipulation. A couple of Orcs killed me multiple times and leveled up so high that I couldn't kill them until I became much more powerful later in the game. And it was sweet revenge in finally taking them out. The story is lackluster and the final boss is a disappointment, but everything else about the game is great. Highly recommended.

This movie has stepped it up for Marvel big time. I'm usually disappointed by most Marvel movies in that the action is pretty generic and the bad guys are usually pretty boring. Captain America WS solves all theses problems. There's a pretty good spy/american fear story. The fight choreography is much improved from most Marvel movies. The use of martial arts is a huge plus for this movie. Marvel has hit it out of the park this year with Captain America, Guardians of the Galaxy, and X-Men.

The raid 2 is undoubtedly one of the best action and martial arts films ever made. There are tons of action scenes without being fatiguing. Almost all of the fighters in the movies are real trained martial artists and it shows. The fight choreography is top notch and absolutely brutal. Puts all 90% of American action movies to shame. Pick this up if you like brutal high octane action.
This refresh of the original X-Men trilogy is a superior version. The originals were campy and boring. This movie introduces us to the beginning of the X-Men with much superior actors with James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, and Jennifer Lawrence. These are award winning actors. There's a better story, a darker Magneto, and best of all it's not stupid. Also, see days of future past, which is an even better movie than First Class.
inFAMOUS Second Son brings you an action-adventure game where superhumans, surrounded by a society that fears them, are ruthlessly hunted down and caged by the Department of Unified Protection. Step into a locked-down Seattle as Delsin Rowe, who has recently discovered his superhuman power and is now capable of fighting back against the oppressive DUP. Enjoy your power as you choose how you will push your awesome abilities to the limit and witness the consequences of your actions as they affect the city and people around you.
There seems to be a lot of open world sandbox games out these days. Infamous SS offers a slightly more unique experience in that your character has powers. The story is good, but not great, enough to keep you interested. The main character is kind of annoying, but he's not that bad. Like most open world games some of the events and things you can do in the game get repetitive. It seems to be the same events strewn throughout the city, but Infamous SS does have enough variety in the events to keep things from being too boring. It's no GTA, but the game is good and the graphics are good displaying the potential of the power in the PS4. 2015 games slated for the PS4 look to tap into more of that graphical prowess. All in all the game is good, better than average and should keep fans of the Infamous series and PS4 occupied.
All it takes is the swipe of a finger. We connect with friends. We buy the latest gadgets and gear. We find out what's happening in the world. But with that same simple swipe, we cast an increasingly expansive shadow. With each connection, we leave a digital trail that tracks our every move and milestone, our every like and dislike. And it's not just people. Today, all major cities are networked. Urban infrastructures are monitored and controlled by complex operating systems. In Watch Dogs, this system is called the Central Operating System (CTOS) — and it controls almost every piece of the city's technology and holds key information on all of the city's residents. You play as Aiden Pearce, a brilliant hacker, whose criminal past led to a violent family tragedy. Now on the hunt for those who hurt your family, you'll be able to monitor and hack all who surround you by manipulating everything connected to the city's network. Access omnipresent security cameras, download personal information to locate a target, control traffic lights and public transportation to stop the enemy... and more.
Watchdogs is great and fun sandbox game. The hacking, while relatively easy, puts a twist on the open world game genre. The game is action packed, if you play it that way, and the story is intriguing. Gunplay is a little too easy (guns are too accurate) and the driving kind of sucks, but you get used to it quickly. All in all the game is quite fun and worth your time.

Great cable for using on smartphones. The male ends are extremely sturdy and don't get in the way of most phone cases, it looks to be made for smartphones and mp3 players. The cable is sturdy and flexible to be pulled farther. I've used a lot of audio cables and this is one of the best and I bought 2 for only $10.

This is a different type of game. If you've previously played quantic dreams games you know what you're in for. If you haven't this is more like playing a movie. Gameplay basically involves pushing the storyline, nothing more. It's a different and a refreshing experience from your typical games like shooters. The story involves a girl's experience with a supernatural being. I won't tell you more than that as it may spoil the game.

The Marantz 7008 is an absolutely great sounding receiver. I listened to all of the receivers in the $1500-$2000 range from Denon, Onkyo, Yamaha, Pioneer, and Marantz. The Marantz impressed me the most. It has great sound separation and a nice warm sound. I'm running a 5.2 setup with 6 and 8 ohm speakers, so I can't speak to 4 ohm speakers. I'm running mid-range speakers and the Marantz provides enough power for them. If you're running high end speakers (power hungry) you may want to buy a separate amp to power your speakers. The Marantz can run a 9.2 setup with the option to expand to 11.2 with a separate amp. There is enough power to run my speakers without a separate amp. Sound calibration with Audyssey XT32 and Sub EQ HT was a breeze, but takes a little time. Audyssey XT32 does a great job at sound calibration and Sub EQ HT perfectly balanced out the bass in my room. The menu system is onscreen and is very easy and intuitive to use with plenty of options to tinker with. I don't use the radio apps so I can't speak to that.
I tested many reference quality blu-rays such as master and commander, battle los-angeles, saving private ryan, and many more. They all sound absolutely great with bullets and cannons whizzing around the room. The sound clarity and detail is outstanding. The bass shakes the house. I do recommend having two subs as the bass is much better balanced. With one sub I could always tell which corner of the room the bass was coming from. With two subs the bass is much better distributed. I don't listen to much music with the receiver, but from what I've heard it sounds excellent. I mostly use it for movies and it is outstanding.
I highly recommend the Marantz 7008. It is a little expensive compared to the other options, but if you like a warmer sound I think the Marantz beats out the other options out there. My only complaint is that for the price I'm surprised wifi isn't included in the receiver. There are receivers out there at only $500 that include wifi.
Of course sound is subjective to every ear, so I recommend listening to many other receivers out there. You may like the sound provided from Denon, Yamaha, Onkyo, or Pioneer better than Marantz, but in my opinion the Marantz provided the best sound for me.
