You can't use this remote control with a smart TV.

I bought a LG Smart TV that was already opened box at the store. I was told that I could purchase a universal remote to operate my "Smart TV", since the remote that was in the box was sold prior to my purchase. The universal remote "can not " be used to operate the functions of Netflix, YouTube, Spotify and Internet. You can change the channels but that's it; you can't use it for the Smart TV operations.
