The unit does work, but it takes longer to air condition a room compared to a traditional window unit of the same BTU range. The exhaust hose also needs to be insulated to keep it from throwing off heat back into the room.

Once you slide the case onto what protects the phone itself, it doesn't want to slide off easy. I feel like I can damage the phone's back plate by pushing too hard on it. Moreover: The latch that holds the phone in the case is too tight. It's hard to remove the phone with one hand.

Will software on my computer backup with files?
I want to backup files on my computer onto a flash drive. Will the software on my computer backup as well?
Backups usually back of personal files only; depending on what kind of backup program you are using. Some aftermarket backup programs will back up the entire computer, but you need to make sure before purchasing. However: If you are planning on backing up the whole computer, backing up to a flash drive is not a wise decision. You will run out of drive space too quickly. A decent 1TB external hard drive is a better choice.

In the Model Danby 12,000BTU Portable Air Conditioner, how long is the hose?
I want to know how long the hose is because I want to know how close to the window I must place this.
5 feet roughly. The pipe's diameter is slightly under 6 inches.
