I'm such a big fan of the first movie. Sadly, not so much with this one. Another case of a sequel too late. In a way, it's a 90s movie released in 2014. See it for nostalgia's sake. If you don't like the original, no point in seeing this one.

I want to say this is like another mission in a Bond movie, but instead with the Warrens trying to save another family from a supernatural force. This movie can stand on its own from the original. I still love both almost equally.

Been wanting this movie for the longest time. 20 years might have been too late. The effects from the original were cool at the time, but like most modern sequels, this seemed to be a CGI fest. Liam Hemsworth didn't help this movie much.
