Who would've thought that a movie about Apollo Creed's son would be such a powerhouse? The premise alone sounds like a horrible Hollywood rehash, but this is a quality movie, comprised of great emotion, great themes and super performances.
One of the best movies of 2015. One of the great performances by Sly Stallone.
A great blu-ray destined for repeat viewings.

These girls are funny and while it doesn't hold a candle to the original "Ghostbusters," it's still funny and entertaining.
The charisma of the actresses really keep this afloat and a fun-filled 3rd act. Thor himself, Chris Hemsworth shows great comedy chops.
The A/V is good but some of the skin-tones and saturation of the video seems overcooked. The extras are a-plenty.
For low-expectation fun and a bit of girl-power, this "Ghostbusters" works.

For those of us who grew up on Tribe, we may be pleasantly and unpleasantly surprised.
This is a good album. Not a masterpiece. And moreover, it certainly feels like a grown-up version of ATCQ.
If you're expecting "Scenario" or "Electric Relaxation" type of crowd-pleasers - they're not really here. These tracks are more about meaningful ideas, laced with dense beats.
It's a Tribe and it's a gift to hear Phife again (Rest in Paradise, man!) and it's a good album. But it's different from the Tribe most of us know - for better and for worse.

I didn't think I'd like this as much as I did. For an adult, teen, or kid, this film is charming, fun, and full of just the right twists, turns, laughs and moments of heart.
Great A/V on blu-ray. It pops on screen and the audio soundtrack is blazing.

This movie and blu-ray are just about perfect.
Rarely, if ever, has a kung-fu movie achieved such emotional and action-driven punch. 16 years after its release, it shines brighter than ever in this day and age of sequels, prequels, rehashes, and anything original.
This blu comes from a 4K remaster and it's dazzling. There's new features as well (retrospective doc and commentary.)
It's a steal! Buy this and you won't regret it at all!

The "Rush Hour" trilogy had 2 pieces of gold and 1 piece of bronze. Parts 1 and 2 were blasts and by today's standards these two films were diamonds in the rough. The third, not so much. But they remind you of how much fun action films used to be.
The A/V presentation is good, but not stellar. It looks like it's supposed to look - grainy, contrasty, filmic, etc. It sounds good, but it ain't "Star Wars" sound.
The retrospective piece is informative and fun.
If you don't own these movies already, go for it. If you do, and if you love the series, this is a good deal.
