Definitely a step up from the charge 2+

What I don't like:
So far, nothing to dislike. I'll update as time goes on. Had some issues with the 2+ when using the aux plug and having the unit suddenly shut itself off after a few minutes, but haven't tested the aux connection yet on the 3. I've been a fan of JBL and Harman Kardon for a long time now, so this was a no-brainer for me. Great sound!

Great product, but not perfect

What I like:
1) Magnetic is so much better than suction cup mounts, and is plenty strong enough to hold the phone even on bumpy roads.
2) The small metal plate you adhere to your phone case is minimally intrusive and adds virtually no bulk to the phone itself and is nice and big.
3) Can be transferred easily to other vehicles.

What I don't like:
1) This is really just nitpicking, but although it'll fit in any vent, depending on the exact style if your vent, you may be limited in the angle in which the mount can be set to, but you generally can still rotate your phone freely to any degree you like.

I'd still recommend this product because you can't blame it for your vent style limiting it's ability to be angled. I don't use it in my personal car, but use it daily in my work car.

Started off great, but failed quickly

I might just have gotten a bad unit, but unfortunately it's too far after the return period to get a replacement. This unit is definitely durable enough, and for the first couple of months, it worked great. However, recently it has started having connection problems, and I have to wiggle the connector around a bit on the unit to get it to stay connected. Sorry insignia, I had high hopes.
