Being a "Wet Head", I couldn't imagine Wet Willie without front man Jimmy Hall. I ordered this CD expecting Jimmy, his harmonica and sax to be with the band as always. I've seen the band at the Warehouse, the Superdome and other venues. I've also seen Jimmy Hall as a solo act at the original Tipitina's. Eric (or Ric ?) Seymour isn't Jimmy but seems to be cut from the same cloth. A high energy good time performer. He's a good substitute, for lack of a better word, but is not Jimmy. "High Humidity" isn't as good as "Left Coast Live" and definitely not as good as "Drippin' Wet" but it is definitely Wet Willie and won't sit in my collection gathering dust. It's gonna get played and enjoyed by me. It's another chance for fans to enjoy the band's music in a live setting. Give it a try, it's good enough for me... and you.
