Not working straight out of box

I bought these clippers and unfortunately discarded the PO so I cannot return them. We have used them once and after only two swipes across my husbands head they sounded like they were losing power. We originally thought perhaps we needed to adjust the power screw but upon closer inspection discovered that the teeth were not moving and the head looked crooked. We tried numerous times to adjust the head to a straight position but after tightening the screws as tight as we could after a couple of seconds of running the head would move to a crooked position again and the teeth would quit moving. The product looked great out of the box but will never, ever again buy a Wahl product again.
