The film is a psychological horror film. A single mother is brought a book from her son called The Babadook. Her son has already been kicked out of school and has emotional problems. After reading the book, things go downhill from there for both of them.

While it is not the classic that the first one was, I still think this movie was pretty good. It could have been awful considering most sequels aren't very good, and this one came out 20 years later.
