If you are looking for the best movie viewing experience that you can have at home, this Samsung media device is a great option. You will not find a crisper, more spectacular picture when watching an Ultra HD Blu-Ray.
While the Blu-Ray viewing is its specialty, the streaming apps are also a great bonus. Most streaming devices on the market do not allow for 4K playback but this one does. It also seems to have better processing power than smart TVs with built-in apps that never seem to work well for me.
This device also will up-convert your DVDs to improve their picture quality. The menu is easy to navigate, and the remote is well designed.
Cons:
The only downsides to this media player are the price and the size of the unit. It will take up a decent amount of space in your entertainment center so be sure to check the specs for measurements. For the price of this unit you can also buy a gaming console that plays 4k video content, but not everyone is a gamer.

Excellent Sound, Space Saving Design

After spending a few days with Denon's latest compact CD/Receiver, here are my thoughts.
First, I was pleased with the design. It's simplistic and easy to navigate the features/options on front of the unit. The size of the unit is perfect for an apartment or small home where you don't have the space for a regular sized receiver. And the inclusion of a CD player is perfect for folks that haven't fully switched over to a digital world. I still own many CD's and it will be great to have another method to enjoy them instead of in the car.
The audio quality was superb for a system of this size. You aren't losing much with a smaller receiver/speakers. There is an output for a subwoofer if you would like to add one. Another nice feature is a sleep timer. Not too many audio systems that I have seen have this.
Before purchasing this system, note that it is for audio purposes only. There are no HDMI inputs/outputs so do not expect to use it for video purposes. For what it is though, it is a terrific purchase that I highly recommend.

This accessory is perfect for anyone that wants to listen to their favorite music, podcast, or audio book from their phone but their car does not have built in Bluetooth.
Most newer cars have Bluetooth built in, but if your car is older (but not too old) it likely has an 3.5mm auxiliary jack for this accessory. And with newer iPhones doing away with 3.5mm ports, it makes accessories like this one all the more important.
It works as expected. You just need to have a good place to keep your phone so the cord doesn't get in the way of driving/shifting. I recommend a magnetic vent mount for your phone unless you live in a cold area and your heater is constantly running. You don't want hot air blowing on your phone.
This accessory can also be used with many/most A/V receivers that don't have Bluetooth built in. Overall, it's an excellent purchase if you have needs like the ones I have discussed.

I was skeptical about this camera at first but it eventually won me over after using it for a few days.
First off, this is a luxury item. Most phones can do what this camera does so you only really need one of these for situations like:
- You want to be in the moment at certain events and not focused on getting good pictures
- You like to grab a bunch of content and edit later to find the perfect images
- You like to grab a bunch of content and edit later to find the perfect images
The best thing about this device is the partner app. It works flawlessly and allows you to easily edit and/or upload any of the content you capture. Your phone pairs to the camera and will allow you to adjust settings from within the app and even tells you the battery life of the camera. It's very small and lightweight (see picture below with an Apple TV remote for scale). You can easily take it anywhere.
What I love about the camera was how I could go into the app, easily delete any footage I didn't care for by swiping left, and then use the edit feature on certain clips to find the perfect image. Since this camera is taking many clips, you are able to view each frame of the clip and save an individual photo that you like best.
Cons:
- Battery life is not great. After playing around with it for about 30 minutes the app showed me at 50% battery life. I expect that I'll have to turn it on and off to save battery life during some outings.
- Like most cell phones, image quality is not great in low light. But it works great outdoors.

Small, lightweight, and good sound

After trying out these fully wireless earphones for about a week I have found them to be fully functional, high quality, and an excellent option for those that are looking for total freedom from wires when it comes to their audio listening experience.
The SP700's not only have high quality audio and extra bass, but they also offer noise cancelling which is rare with wireless earbuds. This feature worked well for me. They were also very comfortable, being lighter than other earbuds I have used. The lighter weight made it less likely for them to fall out unexpectedly.
While they are light and comfortable, there is a tradeoff. The smaller size limits the battery life. You are lucky to get a few hours before needing to recharge. If your don't need them for longer than 3 hours at a time then this will not be a problem for you. The included case allows you to charge them on the go if you need longer play time. I liked the design of the case. It's small and will do a sufficient job of protecting your earbuds in your gym bag.
I did have audio drop a couple of times throughout the week, but it was brief and that is not uncommon for small bluetooth devices such as this. Overall I was pleased the connectivity performance.
If you are looking to go fully wireless with your audio needs, these are worth a look. And the price point is reasonable for what Sony delivers.

Excellent Sound and Fit

I have used about 6 different pairs of wireless earbuds over the past couple years and this set ranks near the top.
As always, Sony sound quality did not disappoint. This set features extra bass, which was very impressive. Battery life was fantastic for the small size. They come with a variety of gel inserts to ensure that you get the perfect fit for your ears. I also appreciated the design of the in-line control module that allows you to easily answer phone calls, increase/decrease the volume, or pause the music you are listening to.
What I would have liked to have seen was a case included with this set of earbuds. If you are going to the gym, you don't want to just toss these loosely into your bag and risk damage. Even a cheap faux leather pouch would do the trick. Those of you that really want a case should spend a little more money to get the SP700 model. They are similar in sound quality but are completely wireless and come with a case that charges the earbuds on the go.
Overall, these are great for the price and a solid option for anybody looking for good workout headphones.

Gaming Mouse with Precision

This was the first mouse I've used that was designed for gaming. I was impressed with many things, including the comfort/fit for my right hand, the precision that it had, and the smoothness with which it slid across my mouse pad. Those are the key elements that I look for in a mouse and it nailed those key features for me.
Another highlight is the built-in rechargeable battery and the ability to use it while charging if needed. And if you have concerns over lag or connectivity with a wireless mouse, you can always use it as a wired mouse as well.
The price is reasonable for a solid customization mouse like this. Gamers should definitely give this one a look when they are shopping around.

Easy Access to OTA Channels

Mohu makes some of the best antennas available. I currently own a Mohu Leaf but this was my first time trying out the Mohu Beam.
For those new to OTA (over the air) channels, all you really need to know is that an antenna is needed to catch those channels. Depending on where you live, you might be able to get by with a cheap option, but most folks would benefit from a powered antenna like this one.
This powered antenna was easy to set up. It can be mounted on a wall (indoor or outdoor), or you can use the included kickstand to set it up on a flat surface. It can be powered using a USB port on your TV or other device. If you don't have a USB port, there is a plug included that lets you use any electrical outlet, but using a USB port on your TV keeps the wiring cleaner and simpler. Both a 10ft and 6ft coaxial cable are included so that you can use one as an extender.
I live on the outskirts of a big city (San Antonio) and was able to pick up all the major networks I was looking for and a large amount of other digital channels with the Mohu Beam. I didn't have to place it in a window to get good reception. Simply placing it behind my TV worked fine.
The only thing I didn't like about this device was that it was difficult to connect the coaxial cable to the antenna because of the location of the port. People with larger hands will have the most difficulty screwing it in.
This antenna is a great buy, especially for those that have difficulty picking up OTA channels with a basic antenna.

Gaming at its Best!

If you are a PC gamer and prefer not to build your own rigs, this Alienware model is a terrific choice. The I7 processor, coupled with the GTX1070 graphics card and 16GB of RAM ensure a top notch gaming experience.
One of the best things about this rig was the lack of bloatware. There was NONE. I didn't have to spend 30 minutes removing unwanted apps and trial offers which was a very pleasant surprise. Thank you Dell/Alienware! Other companies need to follow suit with you guys!
One drawback to this system is that it only comes with a 1TB hard drive. This will fill up quickly and you will find yourself deleting games frequently to make space for others. Thankfully, there is plenty of room for expansion to add as much additional storage that you would like. Alternately you can spend more for the 2TB Aurora rig.
Games played incredibly well with fantastic frame rates even at the highest settings. If you are a hardcore gamer, you will be very pleased with this PC!

Great Speaker for Home Or On the Go

I have also used the smaller version of this speaker, the XB31. Both of them performed very well from an audio quality perspective with great sound that can be tweaked with an in-app equalizer.
The XB41, however, has a much louder sound and can fill a larger room. Check out my picture below to see the size difference between these two models. Another benefit of going with this larger model is that it comes with an AC adapter that allows you to keep it plugged in and powered at all times. The smaller version is charged by USB only. This allows you to use this speaker as more of a permanent fixture in your home if you choose.
The lighting feature of this model is also better. The XB31 lights only decorate the outside borders while the XB41 has additional lights within the speakers themselves that add to the cool factor.
In my opinion it's worth the extra cost to go with this larger XB41 model. But if you just need a portable sound system for on the go, the XB31 will work for you as well.

There is no Aux audio output jack. It does not connect via bluetooth. It connects to your home's Wi-Fi network the same way a chromecast device does. Having a chromecast is optional, as you can have audio come directly from the Home device, or have it played through a chromecast connected TV.
