Good Overall, but could be better...

I've been using this product for a couple weeks, and for the most part it works well.
On the positive side, you get 4 networks (two 5g networks with one for guests and one for personal use, and two standard networks with one for guests and one for personal use), and it performs the same whether one device or multiple devices are connected to it (for better or for worse, as described later). I have not tested this with hardcore online multiplayer gaming, but I suspect that some of my concerns below would play into that. Distance from the router also did not appear to be an issue with receiving the signal (which was not the case with a previous Linksys router I used).
The problem with the router is that it is a bit glitchy and inconsistent. When I've done wifi speed tests, the performance has mostly shown the full wifi speed available, but every now and then, the speed tests show that there is only a little over half of the speed available that should be available (I have 75mbps wifi, but sometimes this router randomly only allows about 40 to 45mbps). This seems to happen whether there is one device or several devices hooked to the router, although the router is supposed to be able to extend simultaneous wifi connections to several devices at consistent speeds without prioritizing or throttling wifi speeds per device the way most standard routers do. I must stress that this is not a constant issue (it goes days with no issues at all), but it is a very noticeable issue when it happens, so heavy gamers may want to be careful with this one.
The initial set-up also seemed a bit overdone as compared to other Linksys and NetGear routers I have used, and I was a bit thrown off by the way the guest networks display as being "open" by default (it took me a while to realize they were still secured in spite of what the router is broadcasting).
Overall, a solid router, but perhaps in need of a firmware update of some kind (none available for this as of the writing of this review), and in need of a simpler UI for installation and wifi network management (the UI here is a far cry from the simpler NetGear router UIs). I'd recommend this product, especially if heavy gaming is not an issue, but I'd recommend it somewhat hesitantly...

I just purchased this kit yesterday, and I immediately saw a difference after installing them on my gaming PC. Everything runs MUCH quicker than I expected and new life has been breathed into my games. Feels like a new PC! Anyone who may be debating the jump to 16gb of memory should definitely take the dive. Purchased this modem so I could stop renting the Comcast modem that came with my cable subscription. Very easy to use/set-up, but still needed to call Comcast to have them officially register the modem. I purchased this Netgear router as an alternative to a Linksys Smart wifi router in the same category & price range as this one. Unlike the Linksys (which under-performed in all of its supposed key feature areas), it was immediately clear that this Netgear router provides excellent wireless signal coverage over both 2G and 5G channels, and I am able to get maximum mbps over 2G with multiple devices connected (and well over what my maximum speeds are supposed to be when using the 5G channels!). The beam forming tech seems to be working great on this device (unlike the Linksys), as I have no concerns about signal strength regardless of what part of my home I am working from. Could not have asked for more, and BestBuy allowed me to price-match for a better deal at time of purchase too! A win-win all the way around! :)

You can do much, much better than this router

Purchased this based on the decent reviews it had been getting and several different lists that ranked it as one of the best router options in its category currently on the market. Not sure if I got a lemon or not, but it would only give me a portion of my wireless speed (Ethernet was fine at around 100mbps (I'm only suppose to get about 75mbps), but wireless would only get up to around 27-30+mbps, even sitting right in front of the router). Mbps dropped the further I moved from the router, with no evidence of beam forming. Tried different settings and trouble shooting techniques from various sources to no avail.
Returned the router after a few days and picked up a Netgear with similar specs as this one for about the same price. The Netgear was able to consistently get 70mbps over the 2.4G wireless connection and over 90mbps on the 5G wireless connection, with no trouble shooting necessary, multiple devices wirelessly connected to the router and at various distances from the router. I originally thought the Linksys was being impacted by others who live close by that are on the 2G bandwidth, but clearly that is not the case since the Netgear worked perfectly on both 2G and 5G connections (In case you're curious, I purchased a Netgear CM600).
Seems that there is something wrong with the smart wifi features on this Linksys; buyer beware, especially if you intend to use high-speed internet service and/or need wireless coverage outside of the immediate room where your router is.

Purchased this in December on sale, and boy was that a great decision!
I never have to worry about running out of power on the go, and can recharge the charger using a quick charger. Its so much easier to just carry this around instead of a whole mess of cords and adapters for each of my portable devices.
Charged my cell phone from nearly total power drain + a tablet and still had all charge indicators on the device sitting at full (meaning it hadn't even used 1/4 of its power to get both devices back to maximum capacity). Biggest problem is trying to get it back from family, friends and co-workers whom I have allowed to charge their devices on it from time to time. :)
My only regret is that I did not grab it during black friday when it was even cheaper than what i got it for (was still researching/comparing it to other devices). Based on reviews of other similar devices (on this website and others), this seems to be the most reliable charger (in its capacity category) and the quickest to recharge once depleted (in its capacity category). There was one on amazon that had slightly higher capacity than this one and solid reviews, but it was stated to have almost twice the recharge time as this one, and I wanted to have my charger in hand the same day as purchased, so I went with this one (this one also has 3 charging ports, whereas the other one only had two).
Great portable charger! Tops off the charge on some of my portable devices better than the chargers they came with! I Highly recommend!

I wanted to venture into the world of desktop gaming but wanted to get something good and somewhat future-proof, and this has been the perfect buy! Compared several different pre-made riggs and this was the best overall bundle for the price with the most positive customer feedback (search across multiple electronics vendors). Purchased this as part of a pre-Black Friday sale for $399, when other similar or weaker devices were at least $600+ on the lower end (most cost even higher). One of my best purchases to date!
Easy to set up and use out the box (although it is a bit larger than I expected, especially coming from a mini-tower previously), including remote control for the internal light show that it does. Is as impressive to look at as it is to use. Has several ports and slots for future upgrades (which is perfect for me, since I can use this for several years without having to purchase a whole new rigg anytime soon), and the graphics and speed have been perfect for my uses.
You absolutely cannot go wrong with this piece of hardware. Could only do better if you build one from the ground up.

I saw this on sale and thought it was perfect to replace my Mother's dead laptop, and it appears to be a godsend so far! Got to Best Buy for the door busters and scooped it up in time to gift it in person just before Thanksgiving dinner!
It had to go through several updates for windows (and it took hours to complete all the updates) but I got it up and running before the night was over, and it runs beautifully! Very quick so far and my mother absolutely loves it! I will update this if she runs into any problems down the road, but I am very thankful this was available at such a great price!

Purchased this at a discounted price, and bought it for the holster/clip more than the shell (I have a designer case on my phone). Holster is a bit bulky, but it is able to holster phone with a designer case with no problem. My previous Verizon holster/clip & case combo was thinner & could only holster the phone with the included case. If you are willing to have a slightly more bulky clip/holster, this will allow you some customization options for cases.
One con: There is a silver screw/bolt that holds the clip section of the holster together, and this was loose when I opened this product. I tightened this and have not had any problems, but I've taken a star off since I should not have had to do that to begin with. Holster works as expected.

No, it only works on 2.4 ghz signal. It does not recognize a 5ghz signal at all.

Yes, this needs Wi-Fi to work properly. Only works on 2ghz signal.

does anyone know if this flash drive will download a movie that is more than 4.67 GB? I read somewhere that some drives cannot handle if file is larger than 3.0 GB? is that true for this drive? thank you for your time
I transferred 24 GB of info in a matter of minutes with this drive, so a file of less than 5 GB should not be a problem at all.

No, this will only allow you to duplicate 1 source onto 2 screens. To my knowledge, there is no simple way to do what you want to do (split 1 HDMI signal into 2 separate independent signals). There may be a way to do this through USB ports, but the quality would be questionable.
If you have a laptop that is compatible with a docking station, some docking stations come with 2 HDMI ports and would potentially allow for what you are attempting to do.
Also, if you happen to have a DVI port on your laptop, there are converters for switching DVI ports to HDMI ports.
I am certainly no expert, and there could be some device relessed tomorrow that allows for what you are asking, but this is what I gathered back when I was originally researching this product about where this stands today.

If you are not sure, it might be best to visit bestbuy and try out the pouch on a similarly sized laptops (a best buy employee used a demo laptop of the same size as my gaming laptop to test out different bags for me, and not all 17.3 inch bags could fit it as the manufacturer claimed).
