Great option for home lighting!

When I received this, I did not realize that it required a HUB/Bridge to operate it. Once I realized that it came with a standard white bulb without the color options, I opted to purchase a Dimmer instead, and I am glad I did, as the dimmer is lower cost than the HUB/Bridge and has more functionality since you can attach it almost anywhere and use the dimmer itself in remote form or attached to the base frame in the convenient location of your choice.
The lamp works as expected, as it goes through a very wide range of dimming levels. The circular shade allows for great lighting in all directions, and the low profile allows the light to have a better spread. Since I went with the wireless dimmer option as opposed to the HUb/Bridge option, I cannot speak to use of the HUE App, but the dimmer with remote more than meets my needs, and I find it much more convenient to use than accessing my phone and an app just to turn my lights on (I might feel differently if I had a broader HUE lighting system than just the one lamp in my home).
I've been so please with this device that I may expand my Hue home lighting network after my upcoming move. I would definitely recommend this to everyone I know, as this is so convenient, especially with the remote dimmer. Definitely a 5 star device!

Everything is Great.... Except Operating System/OS

This is my first encounter with a Chrome Based OS PC (more on that later); The device is lightening quick with all programs and apps (including the touch screen), has plenty of power & storage for such a portable PC, is built sturdy & durable, and is very easy to set up and get going right away. The backlit keyboard and multiple viewing configurations make it suited to use in a wide array of situations on the go or at home. Battery life is fantastic and it charges very quickly with the included charger. Anyone already familiar with the Chrome OS who likes it should not hesitate to get this diamond standard PC and need not read any further. Those who are NOT familiar with Chrome OS should read on.
This was my first encounter with the Chrome OS, and I am NOT a fan. The OS operates basically like a tablet as opposed to laptop, and I cannot emphasize enough that this does NOT give the full functionality of a laptop (you are forced to use APPs over web-based programs, can only use certain APPs like on a cell phone or tablet, are limited to using only certain Chrome OS compatible programs that exclude things like downloading browsers outside of the limited versions from APP based browsers, does not allow downloading or access to certain APPs at all/does not allow full android APP access, etc.). It also does not include a dedicated numeric key pad outside of the top row, and shares the caps lock function with the main menu access button, which feels very inconvenient when typing a message of any sort. Although it is handy as a more powerful and user-friendly type of tablet and provides much better operational functionality than using APPS on your cell phone, it is not a stand-in for a laptop (or more than perhaps casual business use), UNLESS the Chrome OS is already your preferred OS.
For me, although this is handy, I will primarily be sticking with my windows based laptop devices for my work-related and personal needs. However, If the OS had a more compatible base platform, this device would be impeccable. I'd rate this a 3.5 based on the quality of the device overall, while considering its limited functionality within the APP arena. The overall tech on this thing is amazing, but due to the love/hate OS and the asking price for this, I'm rounding down to a 3, as I would only recommend this to persons who already know what to expect from the Chrome OS, who are comfortable with some of the missing amenities found on a standard touch screen portable laptop/notebook.

One of the arm straps on my previous backpack was beginning to detach. Wanted a comparable 17.3 in capable backpack for my gaming laptop. This one is built sturdy & has a cross-lock feature between the arm straps to more evenly distribute the weight when carrying on one arm (and avoid tearing like my previous pack).
Reasonably priced, with several pouches & compartments, and handles my 17.3 in laptop comfortably along with all of my other laptop gear and more. It would be absolutely perfect if it was just a bit larger or had one more larger compartment, but it has worked great so far and feels very sturdy & durable. I definitely recommend.

Hard-Working, Thorough Cleaning Bot!

This robot is great at cleaning, and fun to watch in action!
Very easy to set up and use, including the app (yes, yet another app) to control it from anywhere, including the ability to schedule it to do routine independent cleaning. It has on board cleaning & docking buttons too, so if you want to avoid the app and are planning to be present whenever you use it, it can be operated independent of the app (a HUGE plus in my book, although I do plan to use the app with this particular device). I must admit that I was expecting it to be smaller than it is, but after seeing it in action, it seems to be the perfect size to do what it does.
It is fairly quiet when doing its rounds throughout your living space, except for the slight rolling sound it makes when in areas with hard floors. I love the fact that it attempts (successfully, for the most part) to do very detailed cleaning along edges and corners, however, detailing is the one area that I would say you should plan to use a hand vac or wand or other do-it-yourself tool, although in most cases this will get the job done completely.
My only word of caution is regarding loose cords. I did not notice that there was a loose cord in one area of my home, and the Bot attempted to remove it. The cord was rather thick, so my initial thought was that it would avoid/recoil from the cord, but it actually tried to vacuum the cord and I had to quickly separate the two. Aside from that, it is large enough for you to use natural furniture and barriers from items around your home to get it to go where it needs to go (although it comes with a roll of barrier guard to keep it away from whatever areas you choose), and small enough to fit under most commonly sized tables, stands, and elevated items to clean large areas of the home with minimal prep work beforehand.
I would highly recommend this very entertaining device to everyone! Charge 'em up and let 'em have at it!

I was expecting a lot from this steamer as a mop, but was pleasantly surprised at all of the other functionality of this particular mop! It comes with several interchangeable heads for either the Wand portion of the device or to attach to the main handheld canister portion of the device. Everything from a scraper to a nozzle head can be placed on either (including the mop head attachment).
There is such a difference cleaning with steam as opposed to a bunch of harsh chemicals, and the attachments (including a wall mount kit for storage) make it extremely handy for a variety of cleaning projects. I plan to use one of the two mop heads for carpet steaming, but that is about the only thing I have not yet attempted.
I would recommend this to everyone I know. It actually makes cleaning easier and less harmful since there are no chemicals needed for this to work. I only wish I had stepped into the steam cleaning arena sooner! This is a great buy, and I plan to look at more steam cleaning products in the future as a result of my experience using this!

FUn! While the battery lasts.....

Overall, this is a nice time-killer, but not very much time though.
Very simple to set-up, as everything is based in the Sphero Mini app (do not search the app on the app store; go to the web site given in the instructions, to get the correct app). Everything can be controlled, from directing the Sphero to changing the color illumination of it. There is a way to get it to gradually learn as you go along, but I did not venture past the basic types of movements. You can also learn to do different types of tricks through a program within the app.
All of that said, the battery life is about 45 min. on a full charge, so you pretty much have to pace yourself and remember to charge it immediately every time you use it. I've never owned a device of this type, so not sure how standard of a charge 45 min. is, but from the perspective of enjoying the device, 45 min. did not feel like much (it didn't seem to last a full 45 min.)
Bottom line, the Sphero was very entertaining to use, and easy to control through the app, but battery life impedes on the fun, especially trying to learn the tricks within the app. I would still recommend it to others, as it seems to be a good intro device of this type.

Impressive Device!

Ive never seen a device quite like this one, and was VERY skeptical about the whole concept, but I was completely blown away upon first use!
The sound quality is pretty much perfect for watching tv/streaming online content, and for casual music listening, and you can connect two devices to it simultaneously (but no more than two), and it is very easy to use with the app required for operation. I started with streaming music from my phone, and although the sound quality is impressive (its like wearing your own personal surround sound entertainment center on your shoulders!) I would say it is just slightly lacking in the bass department for die hard bass lovers (still an impressive effort for a device like this!). Bluetooth was easy to use with the app and everything within the app was intuitive for operating the device. Most amazing is the fact that you get such a powerful sound in your immediate vicinity, but if you remove the device from your neck, you clearly hear how contained the sound is to the center of the device. I can only hope that a version of this with a bass boost effect will be released in the near future.
The down side is that you are forced to use the app (it comes with an instruction booklet that only tells you to download the app) and there are really no other instructions outside of using the app to set-up, use, and learn about even the most basic functions of the device. I'm not a fan of being forced to download yet another intrusive app, but the app does make it easy to use this device to its full potential.
I can definitely picture this device coming in handy at work and for basic home leisure (I can give my wireless headphones some periodic rest!), and it would be especially useful if you want to get a full sound but perhaps are in a living or work situation that requires low outward sound projection. I would definitely recommend this, for the experience alone, much more the array of situations this would be handy in. I've never encountered anything quite like it!

I had been eyeing this television for quite some time due to reviews I read in early 2017 about the quality of the picture (almost perfect OLED quality blacks) and the combination of features this set offers (multiple HDR formats, multiple audio & video options, ease of use of features including android-based features, intuitive remote control and settings options, overall responsiveness/quick execution of functions, sturdy and nice looking base and frame, and best picture quality out there next to OLED options due to its full array backlighting, to name a few). At the time I was reviewing this set, there was a Samsung from 2016 that was still being lauded as the best set available, but that changed fairly quickly and this set took top billing and has maintained it so far on most review sites out there.
I originally received one with a shattered panel behind the screen, but once I swapped that one out for one in good condition, I've experienced nothing but pleasant blissful TV watching! This thing is a total upscaling monster and makes just about everything viewed on it look fantastic, from old DVDs to actual 4K HDR content, I have been amazed at the sheer perfection of the picture quality rendered by this set (ran a few 4k OLED display videos on it, and it handled them to perfection!).
My plan was to hold out until Black Friday for a lower price, but the price dropped over labor day weekend, leading to my purchase. This is worth every penny paid, and I am very happy with my purchase! I could not have asked or prayed for a better set than this, as it has gone far beyond all the hype around it and exceeded expectations immensely. I would recommend this set to everyone I know. Great job with this work of art, Sony!

Feels Great on my Teeth & Gums!

I own a similar tooth brush as this one by a different manufacturer, and that one actually hurt to use and led to my discontinued use of it, but this one feels much more gentle and has become my go-to tooth brush.
It has multiple cleaning settings and comes with three interchangeable brush heads that will automatically activate certain cleaning settings depending on the particular brush head used. The set also comes with a pack of replacement brush heads.
There is a charger that looks like a typical water glass that cordlessly charges the tooth brush (a very stylish and natural look for a charger), and I have not had any issues with battery life thus far.
Bottom line, It feels absolutely GREAT in my mouth (Tongue, gums, inner cheeks, teeth), and I would recommend it to everyone I know in the market for an automated tooth brush..

There is a small button on the right side of the device that will illuminate the power display on the front of the device. The device only displays the power in quarters; There are four lights arranged in a square formation, and the lights will reduce after each quarter of power has been drained from the device.
