This dryer cord is required for successful hook-up of your new appliance. Our delivery personnel will determine whether a 3- or 4-prong cord is needed based on the outlet behind your existing dryer.

I purchased this after reading the reviews. We live in a rental home and didn't want to spend a lot of money. This dryer dries a large load of clothes in <45 minutes and a large load of towels in 50 minutes.
The reason I gave the dryer 4 stars is because after about 2 weeks the original dryer started making a noise. I called Geek Squad and within 24 hours I had a new machine. After over a month of use this dryer has not given me any problems.
