I finally cut the cord in July. Saving over $100 a month now just for TV service from U-verse. Buying the TiVo Roamio OTA was a no brainer for me since I still wanted to recorded live TV over an antenna. I also tried the Tablo TV. While I liked the concept, the picture quality is not as good as TiVo (or live TV) and waiting for live TV or recorded shows to play was frustrating. You get none of that with the TiVo. Everything works quickly, and the picture quality is really good.

We had been using an original iPad mini for a few years. It's gotten progressively slower and unusable with each iOS update. When Apple announced the iPad mini 4 and the a lower price for an iPad mini 2, I knew I was gong to get the 2. A few days later, Best Buy had a 4 hour sale where the iPad mini 3 was cheaper than the 2. I didn't waste any time and placed an order right away. Very happy with the purchase. Plus I was able to trade in my old iPad mini for an $81 Best Buy gift card. Win win!

Probably the best of the X-Men series. Successfully combines the old vs. new cast members. The only thing I was disappointed with was that I found out after I bought and watched the movie that there will be an extended version coming out soon which incorporates extended and deleted scenes. Even though I suspect new MacBook Airs are just around the corner, Best Buy had a college promotion, so I ended up getting the 11" MacBook Air at a great price. Good for basic internet browsing, word processing, etc. Small and light. Only issue is that I wish the screen had more resolution but I knew what I was getting into before I purchased it.

Some of my older TV's do not have HDMI connecting capability. Can you use the mini on older devices that still only have RCA connections?
TiVo Mini only has HDMI output.

Can I access the Mini remotely so I can watch my programming while traveling, or is it just for use on the same in-home network?
Has to be same network. TiVo recommends wired, but I got it to work with a wifi range extender. Just set up a static IP on the TiVo Mini.
