Bought one for my son for Christmas and we had so much fun with it had to buy one for my other son. A little hard to control as the auto hover and beginner modes were not stable. Still, they are very cool - even opening the box was a treat!

I ended up going with the Turtle Beach Elite Pro after using both. Nothing against the A40TR, they are great. I just felt the Elites were a little better in overall sound quality (Astro's sound would probably have been better with the closed, rather than open back but an additional $60 was a bit too steep) and comfort.
Regardless, you can't go wrong with these.

Works well and no complaints from others in party on the quality of my voice. Active noise cancellation is good, so if you play in a noise filled environment, it's a definite plus. Otherwise, you probable don't need it.
On thing to note, do not buy this if you don't have the Turtle Beach Tactical Audio Controller (TAC). It will not work without it.

Durable little unit

I purchased this for our travel trailer. On our first trip before I mounted it, I laid it on the upper bunk with some pillows around it. After a 60 mile drive, I entered the trailer and was dismayed to find it lying on the floor. Somehow during the trip it managed so slide off and and drop 7 ft. to the floor. I turned it over, and the screen was undamaged. I plugged it in, and it worked perfectly. Tough little bugger.
The only bad thing about this device is the speakers are on the back, apparently designed to reflect off the wall. Since it's not mounted on a swing out mount, there's not wall behind it to reflect the sound making it difficult to hear the audio when viewing. Need to figure out how to attach a sound bar to the mount.

I like the Xbox controller. The Elite takes everything I like about the stock Xbox One controller and kicks it up. It feels better in your hands and, once you get used to them, the extra paddles and their programability is very useful. The software to program them though, not so much...
It won’t completely transform the way you play games on your Xbox, but it will tweak it significantly. For some people the Elite controller is overkill, but while even some casual gamers will appreciate how it feels and responds, it is a luxury item rather than a necessity. No one needs

It was perfect for holding our Nikon D3400 DSLR with 55mm lens attached, a 300mm stored, a macro lens, a couple of filters, and a bunch of accessories, including a tablet and over the ears headphones -- not to mention a water bottle in the pouch. Even had a tripod attached.
Contains a rain cover which we never had to use.

A little short of excellence

But at the new $200 price point you may not do better. Good Bluetooth, and excellent sound (not as overprocessed as previous generation Beats). They are also very comfortable -- even after wearing them for nearly 6 hours straight on a flight to Hawaii. The battery life is decent at 12 hours of wireless listening, or 20 hours of wired listening, but if the battery goes dead, nothing works. You also have to turn the power off when not in use, as the battery will still run out after 12 hours of non-use.
They also work very well as a wireless headset for making cell-phone calls.
This review would be entirety different at their original $379 price point, but at $200 they are very easy to recommend. Overall excellence is marred by the following:

Some hiss when music isn’t active (you can't turn noise canceling off)
