Have used the pencil a few times in apps designed for the pencil, works well. You can charge the pencil directly from your IPad, however, this feature does not work if you are using an IPad case. The opening in the cases are not large enough to accommodate the pencil. It comes with an adapter so you can hook it up to the lightning cable. Holds a charge for a long time.

Have been using Zagg screen protectors for years. They are definitely worth the money! Have them on my IPhones as well. They honor their warranty, and they do protect the screen. Will this player - without the streaming feature working obviously - work with a flat screen TV that's not a smart TV - one without internet access?
It will work on a non-smart tv. It will work as a player without internet services. I have one hooked up exactly like that, and works fine.
