The second season of the classic musical comedy series The Partridge Family follows the rock 'n roll loving Partridge family matriarch Shirley (Shirley Jones) and her five children. When the family takes their act on the road, they often find themselves on the wrong end of their harried but lovable manager Reuben Kincaid (Dave Madden).
The following repeats my thoughts on tprecent purchases of"Jeannie" because it has the same Mill Creek flaws.
I bought this Mill Creek release to replace a damaged copy of the Sony release. This literal cheap imitation lacks the outer slip cover and the episode synopses. It also stacks the discs, rather than pits them in individual slots as in the Sony release. I bought this online and would not have done do had I know what I was getting.
This release compiles every installment from the sophomore season of I Dream of Jeannie, the sitcom starring Barbara Eden as a centuries old genie wish-chanting who serves an astronaut (Larry Hagman who loves her.
The following is the same as for Jeannie S1 because the same flaws exist.

Own every single episode of Ricky Gervais' Extras in this release containing both seasons of the side-splitting series featuring guest appearances by Kate Winslet, Daniel Radcliffe, Ben Stiller, Ian McKellan, Samuel L. Jackson, and more.
Good commentary on both the true nature of fame and the tough life of an "extra" bit player. Hilarious cameo by Daniel Radcliffe and wonderful spoof of sitcoms regarding series in which Gervais' character makes it big.
Enjoy your favorite films in stunning clarity with this Samsung BD-J5100/ZA Blu-ray player, which delivers arresting images with 1080p resolution. Streaming capability lets you enjoy a wide array of entertainment.
This player is a replacement by BB regarding the earlier one entirely stopping working after 15 months. Samsung CS was horribly nasty and unhelpful. They allegedly escalated the issue to exec CS which never called me back. NEVER BUY SAMSUNG!!
If you don't think Speed is the fastest-moving adventure film ever made, we challenge you to find a faster one. Keanu Reeves stars as an LA Bomb Squad specialist whose principal antagonist is elusive bomber-extortionist Dennis Hopper. Seeking vengeance after his latest ransom scheme is thwarted, Hopper presents a personal challenge to Reeves: A wired-for-destruction city bus, which will detonate if the speedometer drops below 50 MPH. Playing the reluctant civilian who is pressed into service as the bus' "substitute driver," leading lady Sandra Bullock became a major star in her own right. Once Speed gets to the meat of its story, the excitement never lets up--not even after the boobytrapped bus is out of the picture.
I loved the film when it came out because it exceeded expectations. Watching it on VHS was fun, but I noted at the time that the picture and sound quality were not so great.
I once again was pleasantly surprised because the film itself exceeded the test of time. DVD ain't Blu-ray, but the picture and sound were good. I got more than my $3.99 worth.
HBO Video's DVD of Cannonball Run delivers a bit more than one might expect from a budget-priced disc. For instance, the film looks and sounds better than it did in its videotape incarnation. The anamorphically enhanced widescreen image is sharp and the film has been given a punchy Dolby Digital 5.1 remix that plays up the film's witty use of music and the frequent car-chase sound effects. The Cannonball Run DVD also boasts an unexpected but welcome commentary from director Hal Needham and producer Albert Ruddy. The commentary falls prey to occasional dull spots (both men praise the actors to excess), but patient listeners will be rewarded with plenty of nifty facts. Interesting bits of trivia revealed on the commentary include how much of the budget went to Reynolds' salary and the fact that Hal Needham and screenwriter Brock Yates once participated the real-life Cannonball Run. The one downside of this disc is that it strangely lacks a trailer for the film. Despite this curious omission, the DVD edition of The Cannonball Run is guaranteed to please the film's cult following.
I primarily bought this because I found it in the bargain bin soon after reviewing the new BD release for the similar Gumball Rally. http://classictvdvdreviews.blogspot.com/2017/06/the-gumball-rally-bd-that-70s-great-race.html
Seeing Burt Reynolds and real-life bud Dom Deluiske do their standard Abbott and Costello routine was fun. Also enjoyed the 70sliciious stars such as Farrah Fawcett and Adrienne Barbeau. Sammy and Dean doing their own buddy schtick was a bonus.
A young woman decides the time has come to embrace her superhuman abilities and fulfill her destiny as a hero in this drama based on the DC Comics character Supergirl. This release collects all episodes from season one of the series.
