Peabody and Sherman took me back to the 60's when I watched the shorts as part of the Bullwinkle and Rocky show. It was well written and well created. I didn't think the cartoon could really handle being a long movie, but it incorporated more mini-stories of history and brought them all together into a funny movie. If you liked the old shorts from Bullwinkle and Rocky, you will love this movie and it is a great way to introduce your kids or grandchildren to Mr. Peabody, Sherman and the WayBack machine.

Funny, fun, action, romance, it has it all. Chris Pratt does a great job as Star Lord. Joss Whedon is phenomenal bringing this story to screen. This is a must-see movie if you like super-hero-type movies or just movies, in general!
An amazing twist on an old story of Sleeping Beauty as told by the "villain". Great behind the scenes look at the familiar story that many of us grew up with. The good thing is it is a plausible twist and good for all involved. I love the classic animated story, but I think this is my new favorite.
The fourth season of The Walking Dead finds Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) desperate to rediscover his own humanity and preserve what he can of his son Carl's (Chandler Riggs) childhood through reinventing himself as a farmer while a counsel including Carol (Melissa McBride) and Daryl (Norman Reedus) in addition to several Woodbury ex-pats take on leadership roles. His newfound sense of peace is quickly derailed, however, when a mysterious illness begins to decimate the community. Elsewhere, the disgraced Governor (David Morrissey) roams the apocalyptic streets on his own until happening upon a family of survivors who reignite both his will to survive and take revenge against Rick, who he blames for the loss of Woodbury. Following a massacre at the prison, the group is splintered into several factions, none of whom can be sure about the fates of the others, and forced to find shelter among a population of survivors that can pose as much and often more of a threat than the walkers themselves.
The Walking Dead, Season 4 picks up where Season 3 leaves off. Peril around the corner. Gotta fear the Walkers/Biters, but why do people always have to be in a struggle for power? I guess the end of the world is still a place to fight each other. Well, lots of realism. If we ever do have a zombie apocalypse, The Walking Dead is good training. It is easy to get hooked on this series!

What's great about it: Great plot! Great characters! Great filming!
What's not so great: I want the whole series now! :-)
World War Z is a good zombie apocalypse movie with a good twist in terms of the "virus" that causes it. I could see where a virus might have the intelligence to select appropriate hosts and this is one of the first movies I've seen with that possibility. Pretty well done. If you like zombie movies that are intelligent, this is one.

What's great about it: Solid zombie apocalypse story with plausible twist
What's not so great: Didn't expect Brad Pitt in this role, but he does okay
This wholesome, extensive release from the classic sitcom The Andy Griffith Show includes all 249 episodes of the show, following the everyday adventures of Sheriff Andy Taylor, whose days in the small town of Mayburry, North Carolina are often less packed with crime fighting, and more filled with the silly antics of small town life.
I grew up with these shows and watched many in syndication years after. Some of the comedy is dated and corny, but some is classic! The music is good. The memories are great. If you are a boomer, you may remember these shows. Like the Rascal Flatt's song says, "I miss Mayberry!" You don't have to with this collection.

What's great about it: Great memories; still funny after all these years!
What's not so great: I wish the price was lower, but that's true of everything!
I saw the original Omen back in the 70s and found it interesting. I think it started a lot of interest from people in the book of Revelations from the Bible. It was well-acted with a good story line. The sequels were necessary to finish out the story, but not as good. The Omen 3 was pretty well done with Sam Neill as the lead. I thought the entire series was good and should be viewed. The remake of the first Omen was pretty good. I liked certain aspects from the remake; being more modern was good.

The eighth and final season of Psych finds the unconventional "psychic" investigator detective Shawn Spencer (James Roday) and his best friend Burton "Gus" Guster (Dule Hill) tackling some of the toughest criminal cases in Santa Barbara. Among the guest stars featured include Mira Sorvino, Tom Arnold, Loretta Devine, and Bruce Campbell.
James Roday and Dule Hill are great together. Fantastic timing. Off the wall. How do they do it? They make it look seamless. Yet, the crime solving is also intelligent. You can really care about the characters. I am sad to see this great show go off the air, but it is leaving on a high note.
