After my remote on my RCA tv stopped functioning, I went to Best Buy for another one. I asked the salesman and he recommended this one stating that they programmed all the tvs in the store with it. He gave good advice. I had no problem.

I purchased a cheaper RCA remote before this one and I tried for four days and calling the 1-800 number to program it with no success, After purchasing this one for a few bucks more, I was able to program it in one minute!
