Verified Purchase:Yes
I bought it to listen to audio books. It is not good at all for them. It will not hold your place. Holding the place is important because I could not find that it had a lock button and the least little tap would move it forward or back. I had sent it back before I got an answer to my question about if it had a lock button. Yes, it does but it is several steps. Spend the extra and get the Clip Zip. Much better device for audio books.

my player is stuck in a foreign language and I cannot read any menus. Did reset but cannot figure out how to get back to English

This is a sandisk clip sport mp3 model sdmx24. After reset, my screen shows the gear icon for setting but language is foreign and I don't know how to get English.

Thank you very much.
There should be a small hole somewhere on the device that is a reset. Use a paperclip or pen tip to hold that button down for a few seconds. That should take it back to the beginning.
