DOES THE JOB!!

I wanted a device I could wear that tracks only my steps. The Fitbit - ZIP does this better than any pedometer I have used to date. I have tried tracking steps via apps on my phone, but they are not accurate to the degree that ZIP manages.

Can you charge the battery with my computer?

I am skeptical to buy this if the battery life is short. I don't want to keep replacing batteries. Most tracking devices can be charged on a computer.
NO, you cannot charge the Fitbit ZIP on your computer. A battery for this product should last you a year. But if you are constantly checking your step count or other, the battery will wear down faster.
