Brew coffee on your stovetop with this percolator that features crack-resistant borosilicate glass and a heat-tolerant handle. The included trivet lets you use the percolator on electric coil stoves.
I use it on a propane burner while camping. Use medium heat to get the water up to temp, then turn it down to low to perk, or you'll boil the coffee and it'll taste scorched. I'd also suggest using some sort of filter if you use standard store bought coffee. Today's grinds are designed for a drip coffee system, are too small for the basket's holes, and get in the coffee. If you grind your own beans, use a coarse percolator grind, like in the old days. Follow these simple guides, and it makes awesome coffee.
Easy to put together. Provides more than enough heat for its size, even when I put a cast iron griddle on top. Folds down nicely. The regulator seems to have an issue where the flame goes too far back and makes a whooshing noise at the air intake. Great grill, and doesn't use too much propane. It used a 16 ounce bottle for 5 meals over a weekend.
