I originally purchased the JBL flip 4. I bought it to use on my mountain bike. It was a great size, like a soda can. Very clear and clean but not enough bass for me. I returned it and purchased the Megaboom. Although it is larger and more expensive it still has the right shape, like an Arizona Iced Tea Can, it was just what I needed. Strong bass and volume. I don't hit the bike trails without it! The battery lasts forever. Keeps charge when you're not using it. Used it one day for a few hours and a week later it still had 80 percent with no charging while at the same time being left in a hot car. I don't have buyers remorse like I do have with other expensive products that I've bought. If you want this for a bike ride the sound will keep you motivated. Don't hesitate if you're on the fence.

This is an attractive stand that fits perfectly under my 65 inch TV. Only thing is that if you have very heavy amplifiers or receivers the glass barely supports it. You may want to use them not on the same shelf. Maybe better one on top shelf one on another. My amps are like 45 pounds a piece.

These work great. Just be sure to cut the wire to the length it says. Leaving extra wire will not for allow proper connection. Make sure your wires look like the illustration in the directions when pulling them through the bottom portion of the connector. No more, no less.

I first heard this system connected to b&w cm10 speakers, and I was thoroughly impressed. I thought thought they had an amplifier connected in addition to this av receiver. Nice strong sound. However I did not go with the cm10s even though I probably should have because I bought the b&w 805 D3's. I went overboard because of the price. Then I felt I needed an amp because those speakers needed more power to do what they do. But back to the Marantz, nice piece of equipment and won't go wrong with a simple surround sound setup. 5 speakers and a sub. Will make you happy.
