I bought this for a TiVo and Blu Ray player. It was really easy to install and the shelves are perfect for wider Blu Ray players. The reason that I gave it 4 stars is because it is not easy to route wires through the unit to hide them. I had to hide some wires behind them TV draped over the TV stand.

These plugs work great and are very tight. I made the mistake of putting the wires in the opposite of what it was supposed to be. When I tried to switch them, it was too late. The plastic crimper only works once. I e-mailed Rocketfish to get new crimpers, but they don't sell them separately.

I bought this to replace an old Sony that didn't have HDMI pass through. It has sound calibration software that immediately comes up when you first turn this on. The microphone works great and it sets itself up in a matter of minutes. It produces great sound and has a nice feature that turns itself off when you turn the TV off (my cable HDMI is plugged into the receiver). I got it on a black Friday special ($200), so you can't beat the value for the cost.

Great External Drive Substitute!

I bought this because two of my external hard drives quit working. I was hoping that the hard drive was still functional. I removed the hard drives from the external housing and plugged them in to the Thermaltake and it immediately read them. I was able to get all of my data off of the drives and now I use this as an external hard drive. If your external hard drive quits working, get one of these before you give up on retrieving the data.

I should have switched long ago

I bought the 500GB Bolt to replace a TWC cable box and put the $25 per month cost towards something that will save me money in the long run. As soon as it came on, I noticed that the picture was clearer with better color. The guide is also very easy to follow as it has the ABC, Fox, NBC, etc logo next to the channel and the times and shows listed in an easy to follow format. My cable box said WHIO, WHBC, etc so I had to figure it out. The OnePass feature is great for recording a season worth of episodes and easy to set up. The only negatives are that It did take about 30-45 minutes to set up and remove the channels from the guide that I don't get, the $150 per year TiVo cost, and I do have to rent a cable card for $2.50 per month. It will take me about 20 months to start saving , but I plan to have the Bolt for many years to come.

I've had this tv for a month and love it. This is my first smart TV and I won't go back. The tv has plenty of apps like Netflix, but also has the ability to search and download other apps (I downloaded the Time Warner Cable app). I have an older Wireless N router and have no problem connecting to Netflix and streaming high quality video. Also, the picture is unbelievable. When I plugged in my TiVo, it was super clear and crisp. The sound is surprisingly good as well.
