We were very excited to try the Neato Botvac D4 Connected App-Controlled Robot Vacuum. We have two large dogs and both carpet and tile in our house. The amount of dog hair makes vacuuming a weekly task. Overall, the Neato Botvac is very easy to set up with the App and we even got to give it a name! We chose Neato Speedo.
Set-up: Just a few clicks and the app was installed to our iPhones and our account was created. We found an appropriate place to put the base and away we went.
First Cleaning: First thing we noticed about Neato Speedo, it isn't very fast. In fact, it is very slow. We were a all standing watching it inch across the floor. What I will say is, it maneuvers very easily and finds corners, edges, furniture, dogs and people very easily. Make sure you pick up all items on the floor to prevent Neato from doing a U-turn. After the first run around the house, I could notice a difference and the floor seemed to be vacuumed fairly well. When the battery was low, Neato would stop and easily return to the base for a recharge. We did have a bit of trouble finding the filter to empty it, but that was because it was new and took some effort to open the door. Emptying the filter was quick and easy. We did notice the hole would get clogged quite a bit with dog hair during the vacuum cycle. We wished Neato would alert us of a jam, so we could clear it out. But besides that, it seemed to do a good job of picking up dirt and hair.
Second Cleaning: The 2nd time vacuuming seemed to go a lot better. We were able to save our floor plan and Neato in fact cleaned the entire area. It did stop multiple times and return to the base for a recharge. We also cleaned out the filter area a few times. This process though is not quick. It seemed like Neato was running for a few hours. But, it was Sunday football and my husband loved sitting on the couch watching football while Neato Speedo did all the work. We have not tried the setting to have Neato vacuum while we are away. Having two dogs, they would probably get in the way. Neato was very quiet and did not bother them in the slightest though. The dogs pretty much ignored it.
Overall, we are happy with the way Neato Speedo cleans and enjoy not having to vacuum the entire house multiple days a week with the upright. We will still probably use the upright every other week to get areas too small for Neato to get (along the baseboards, under the buffet, etc) and for the bedrooms. We have only used Neato in the family, dining, kitchen, entryway and hallways. We have yet to try it in the bedrooms, but I'm sure it would work just fine there too. A positive is the replacement filters are available at major retailers at a reasonable cost and are easy to change out.

My 9 year old son loves these headphones. He uses them for playing games on the PC and with the Xbox utilizing an adaptor we already had. He also uses them in the car to watch movies on the DVD player. Great sound and very comfortable. He likes the optional mic that turns off when lifted. It allows him to play and interact with his brother. They look really nice and my son loves the color. Overall, a great all around headset with multiple uses.

Sony SP600N Wireless Noise Cancelling earbuds are decent earbuds, but have a few issues. They would be great to use while at the gym, lifting weights or walking on a treadmill. The issues occurred when they were used for running. First of all, the control box attached to the wire is very heavy. When running, the weight of it often tugged at the ear bud and was uncomfortable. It caused the wire to be uneven and shift. Also, while running the noise cancelling feature was okay, but since the ear buds had to be pushed deep into the ear to prevent slipping out, it caused an echo of the footsteps in the ear. Overall, an ok set of earbuds for working out just I would avoid using them for long distance running.

Got the Acer Nitro 5 Laptop for our almost 13 year old son who loves video games. The screen size is perfect for gaming. It seems to run fast enough and time will tell if it has enough memory to play all his favorite games. We hope he will use it for school work too, but probably more for gaming. Overall, a nice sized laptop that performs as expected. Easy set up and user friendly. Great for young people who are into gaming!

The Sony - SRS-XB41 Portable Bluetooth Speaker in Red is great! It is the perfect size for a pool party or larger get together when you need a little more sound a lot more bass! The flashing lights are fun and adds to the party atmosphere. It connected easily to our iPhone via Bluetooth and creates a pretty deep base for its size. We love the fact that it is water and dust proof as we live in the desert and have a pool. It should hold up with our dust storms and high temperatures. The battery seems to last and it small enough to be portable, although carrying it around might be tough. It would definitely work for a road trip or trip to the beach if you want a bit more bass and sound quality. Overall, great sound and easy to set up.

The Sony - SRS-XB21 Portable Bluetooth Speaker is a decent little wireless speaker that is easily connected to a device via Bluetooth. We use it with our iPhone and love that it is waterproof and portable. It will be great when lounging by the pool and is small enough to fit in a backpack or beach bag when traveling. So far, it has a decent charge and the sound is great. I would recommend this for use in close proximity in a more intimate setting.

I have wanted to try the Sonicare toothbrush for awhile. I’ve had another brand for years and it was time for a new one. I love the black color and the way it cleans my teeth. The vibration took a little bit to get used to since it tickles some, but overall I like it. The charge lasts for a long time and the base is small enough to travel with. I like the way the toothbrush cleans and it is quieter than my other brand. I do wish the brush attachment was also black to match the other piece. This does not affect usability though, just an asthetic issue. Overall, very happy with this toothbrush!

The JLab Audio - Epic Executive Wireless Noise Canceling Earbud Headphones are overall pretty decent ear buds. Easy setup and clear sound. The noise canceling function works better than typical ear buds without that feature, but not as well as over-the-ear style headphones with noise canceling feature. These would serve better for use in an office or maybe on a plane.

The Plantronics - Backbeat FIT 505 Wireless On-Ear Headphones are fantastic. I got them to try as an alternate to earbuds. I find earbuds very uncomfortable because they irritate my ears. I was looking for a lightweight, wireless pair of headphones to use while slow jogging & walking. These headphones are great. They fit comfortably and were easy to sync with my iPhone. While jogging, they do not slip and the sound quality and bass are amazing. They are sweatproof and adjustable. I have only had to charge them once and they have worked with no issues through 3, 5k’s done over a two week period. Love these headphones. They are a great alternative to sport earbuds!

The Blendtec blender classic series 575 is a great blender and smoothie maker. The plastic jar holds everything you need to make a great tasting, healthy drink. My husband uses it to make Shakeology drinks and nutritious smoothies for our two boys. You can easily blend fruits (both frozen & raw), spinach, kale, ice, nuts and peanut butter into the perfect consistency. It has a smoothie setting which takes the guess work out of it. We use the Blendtec several times a week and enjoy it very much. Clean up is quick and easy too. Overall, very happy with the function of this blender.
