The Polaroid Go Camera is so cute! I wanted to love this little camera and thought my 12 year old son would enjoy it too. Sadly, we were both underwhelmed.
It is such a cute little Polaroid Camera with so much potential. First for the pluses. It fits in the palm of your hand and is so easy for on the go. Comes with a strap too. It’s fairly straightforward on how to use it and take photos with it. The selfie-feature is great, especially for teens. The small sized photos are perfect for scrap books and bulletin boards or would be cute in a school locker. Again, so much potential until you actually take a picture.
The negatives are pretty much the poor quality of these cute little photos. We tried indoors with the flash and outdoors with and without the flash. The quality is just so poor. We tried full light and indirect light but still the photos came out pretty bad. They also took about 15 minutes to fully develop. We followed the directions exactly, but never could get a good photo. The only one that came out somewhat ok was a selfie my son took in full sun, so he was squinting. The biggest drawback to this camera is the cost of the film packs. It comes with 2 cartridges, each containing 8 photos. That’s 16 total pictures. We wasted a few figuring out how to use it and then another few with bad results. To replace the film is costly and just not worth it for the quality. I’ll let my son take it to theater camp or use up the last of the film, but I can’t say I would buy more. Just not worth it for subpar photos that are really tiny and take a long time to develop.
Overall, it’s a nice idea and retro for those of us who grew up with Polaroids. I really wanted to love it because it was so cute, but I just wasn’t impressed.

I got the Tweezerman - Brow Grooming Kit for my 15 year old son. He has some unruly eyebrows that tend to grow together in the center (slight unibrow). He really likes the small blade that cleans that area up quickly and easily. Much better than the bulky electric shaver he was using before.
The compact carrying case is easily portable for travel and keeps all the tools together so he can find them in his bathroom when needed.The Tweezers are accurate and do what they should with a good grip.
Overall, he is very happy with the grooming set and surprisingly uses it often. Anything that can help a teenager with grooming is a winner in my book!

The Pure Enrichment - PureZone™ 190 Sq. Ft 4-in-1 Air Purifier is very easy to setup and use. The auto feature works great, and recognizes immediately when the environment needs it.
We have it set up in our dusty office, where our 2 large dogs like to sleep. After a few days, the room smells and feels cleaner. The air just seems crisper. Hard to prove that the air is actually cleaner, but it does seem like it.

Although we haven’t needed to change the filter yet, it seems extremely easy to do. It has variable speeds that are surprisingly quiet. It’s size is perfect, not taking up too much space. It is easily tucked away in the corner of the room. Makes the office more comfortable for remote work that requires the door to be closed frequently for Zoom and phone calls.
Overall, it seems to do what it claims with ease and efficiency.

The Dyson Outsize Cordless Vacuum is a great cordless vacuum option. We have 2 very large, short haired dogs and so this review is based off how well the vacuum performed with animal hair and dirt.
The vacuum came out of the box fairly straightforward and easy to use. We charged both batteries for approximately 4.5 hours prior to use as instructed.
I wanted to get an idea how long the battery would last while doing my normal routine of vacuuming our living room, dining room, kitchen, entry way, all hallways, laundry room and front bathroom. I set the toggle switch to the middle setting and began.
The LCD screen showed about 60 minutes to start with, so I began cleaning our carpeted living room. The full sized cleaner head and bin quickly filled up with dog hair and dirt. I was impressed by the ease of turning and maneuvering around the couch and under the end table. The suction was great and the clear bin showed just how much the vacuum was pulling up. I emptied the bin when I was about half way done with the living room. I then went to the tiled entry way.
The vacuum automatically “knew” that I had switched from carpet to tile and adjusted the battery time left as needed. The battery lasts a lot longer on tile and glides effortlessly too. The bin again filled quickly. I was able to then switch back to the carpeted dining room without having to stop and unplug/replug the vacuum in the other room. This is a high traffic area as the doggie door to the outside is in the dining room. The vacuum was able to get deep down and remove a lot of sand and pet hair here.
At this point I was about half way through the first battery. After another bin dump, I moved on to the hallways and laundry room. Both of which are tiled. Again, the vacuum moved right around corners easily and I was able to vacuum under all of the hallway tables/benches without moving them. The vacuum lays almost flat which is great. The front bathroom is tiled and the vacuum easily fit between the toilet and sink. Again, no need to unplug or replug in the cord which cut down on the starting/stopping time. Overall, it took me about 60 minutes switching between carpet & tile to complete all of the rooms mentioned. I emptied the bin 4 times total. The bin opens and empties very easily without a bag to expel the dirt and hair directly into the garbage.
There are so many different attachments that come along with the vacuum. We tried out the edge tool and the brush bar and both were great getting into the hard to reach areas. My only complaint is the vacuum didn’t come with an accessories bag or anything to put them in. We had an extra cinch sack lying around that does the job, but it would be nice if Dyson supplied one.
Overall, the pros to the vacuum were great:
• Great suction with larger cleaner head & full size bin
• No cord to deal with saving time moving from room to room
• Vacuum automatically switches from carpet mode to hard floor
• Easy to swivel and maneuver around and under furniture
• 2 rechargeable battery packs allowing almost 120 minutes of vacuuming time
• Especially easy to push over tile and laminate
There were just a few cons that I noticed, so I thought I should mention those:
• No bag to store attachments or accessories
• Vacuum does not stand upright by itself. You must lean it against a wall or counter or it will fall over
• The on/off switch is a trigger and you must constantly squeeze it to use the vacuum. I noticed my hand/wrist starting to fatigue from gripping. I tried to switch hands back and forth to elevate this. I wish there was a constant on/off switch that could have been utilized for larger rooms. My hand/arm were slightly sore the next day from this.
• Some might find it too heavy for prolonged use on carpet. The powerful suction does makes pushing/pulling it on carpet and little more tiresome.
• We did not try using it as a handheld to clean shutters, etc. but the weight might make that cumbersome too.
Very nice cordless vacuum nonetheless that really does do a great job picking up pet hair and dirt. It is versatile and can easily be used in multiple rooms on multiple surfaces.

We recently got the ASUS ROG Zephyrus 15.6" QHD Gaming Laptop for my 12 year old son. He enjoys recreational gaming and needed a reliable laptop with speed and enough memory to store multiple games.
Here are the pros:
- High level of graphics while gaming at 165hz
- Windows boot times are fast, and games/apps boot in a few seconds
- Long lasting battery
- High resolution 2560x1440p screen running at 165hz
- Good audio
- Packaging and boxing are impressive

Overall, we are very impressed by the speed and graphics on this laptop. A big improvement over the last one he had. He just downloaded multiple games without issue.

The Logitech Wireless Trackball Mouse in Black is a great mouse option. Very comfortable to use. It took about a day to get use to a stationary mouse compared to a standard mouse. Easy to set up and very natural and precise movements. It provides options to set up via Bluetooth or USB. Since I have limited USB ports, the Bluetooth option is perfect! I would recommend this mouse for any office needs.

Jabra Elite 85t True Wireless earbuds are definitely a favorite. After trying many different types and styles of earbuds, these are by far the go to for the following reasons:
- Easy to sync
- Very comfortable and feels secure in ear during active workouts
- Long lasting battery and charging case
- Simple to use
- Magnetic charging case is a big improvement from earlier models
- User friendly app
- Great sound for music and phone calls

I was wanting an updated printer that does it all, but is easy to use with multiple devices (phones, laptops, computers and Chromebooks) and I think I found it. The Epson - WorkForce® Pro WF-7840 Wireless does everything. It scans, prints and copies to multiple types of paper and can utilizes various sizes for output. This means you can print to larger size sheets if needed or on envelopes or card stock as well. This is great for a family needing to print for school, work and personal necessity. It can be used for crafts and projects and also to scan and send homework or other documents.
The set-up was amazingly easy too. I was able to set it up and print from both my iPhone and my laptop quickly and easily. For the phone, I simply scanned the QR code on the printer's display with my phone and it automatically recognized it. Two seconds later I was printing from my email. So easy! With the laptop, I just went to my settings, found the printer and followed a few steps on the printer display. I was then able to print from my laptop. We have two teenage kids who need to print for school. This printer makes it so easy to print from multiple devices. I am not very tech savvy and I was able to do it within minutes.
The print quality so far seems great, but I have not tried printing on coated paper or larger sizes yet. The area for scanning is nice and big, so you can scan from larger books or even maps if needed. The one drawback to having a larger scan area is the printer itself is quite large. I had to turn it sideways on our table to utilize both the front loading paper trays and the back loading ones for envelopes etc. Not really and issue for me, but if you have a small area it might be a problem.
I have not tried the voice command printing yet, but not sure if that is a feature I would use much anyway. Overall, very happy with the ease in which this printer was set-up and its ability to handle multiple devices and projects.

The Instant Pot - Duo Nova 8-Quart 7-in-1, One-Touch Multi-Cooker is amazing. I have another brand 6 quart pressure cooker and absolutely love it. I have been wanting a larger size to enable me to make double batches of recipes like Spaghetti and Ribs to have left overs. We are a family of 4, with two sons who are 12 & 15...they eat a lot! In comparison to my other pressure cooker, the 8 quart allowed me to double my Spaghetti recipe easily with plenty of room. I also noticed it seems to get to pressure quicker than my other one. I especially like pressing the button down to release the pressure on the Instant Pot in contrast with the other brand that you turn. I did have to get used to way it starts though. My other one shows on display that it is starting while the Instant Pot has a delay and I couldn't tell it was doing anything until after a little bit. But besides that, I really like the larger size. I have made Indian Lentils, Spaghetti, Ribs and a few other recipes so far without issue. It cleans up easily and the multi-functions are great. I have yet to steam with it, but I'm sure it will work just as well as the other features. Overall, if you are trying to decide between the 6 or 8 quart pressure cooker, I would go with the 8. Especially if you have two hungry teenagers to fed!

Turtle Beach® Stealth™ 600, Gen 2 Wireless Gaming Headset for Xbox One is a great gaming headset. We got them for our 12 year old son to use while playing Xbox One. He is a recreational gamer and the headset suits his needs just fine. Overall, he is very happy with the headset.
