The second season of this sci-fi thriller continues to follow orphan Sarah Manning (Tatiana Maslany) throughout a deadly conspiracy after learning that she is not only a clone, but that there are others out there like her - some of whom don't have the best intentions.
Let me start by saying I never give a DVD five stars (no show is ever perfect) but this one would be about as close as they come. This show is truly fresh and I have not seen anything like it before. Love Tatiana Maslany in her roles as multiple clones. She is so good you can easily forget that each role is not being played by a different actor (take note awards-emmys, SAG, golden globes, etc.) This season spent a lot of time filling in a lot of backstory on the origins and murkying the waters of who fits in the good and bad camps. But the real main theme of the season was that like a lot of shows with a "Scooby Gang" the whole is stronger than the parts. There is no "I" in clone. My favorite part was Felix's confusion about his feelings towards the new trans clone, buy it and see what I mean. Good season, good DVD and a must have for the clone club.

This has to be one of the least funny movies of this year or perhaps any year. Most of the "humor" was gross and fairly leaden. I don't think I laughed the whole time. Most of the gags were so bad you could have seen them coming last year. At the end of the movie you wanted to be in the middle of the street with F'resnel just to be put out of your misery. This one felt like 12 hrs. of labor I don't want to repeat.

This is of course a must have for those who liked Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz. Although I still rate Shaun of the Dead as the best of the trifecta this is another fine screwball take on the monster movies that this group seems to have almost perfected. One could grow up but why, when you could save the world, or atleast your home town. I absolutely recommend this if you like parodies or off beat comedy.

Each season seems to be getting better than the last. This season leans slightly away from the tension of the main character love triangle but in doing so brings depth. There may almost have been too much of a good thing in that there was so much story to tell that some of the more enjoyable characters like Kenzie were pushed a bit to the background and the missing liveliness was felt. So many new monsters and so much more story though seems to be keeping things fresh and exciting even three seasons in. Also as an added plus this seasons bonus section seems to be more filled out. A pleasant surprise seeing as most foreign DVD/Blu-ray of series seem to almost totally neglect this section. I recommend this to any fan of sci-fi who likes to get their quirk on or even the slightly offbeat romantic.

More of the same which isn't necessarilly a bad thing. Pushes plenty of Zach Galafinakis if that is what you are looking for. But the usual is certainly starting to wear thin. Probably just as well this is the last one, thanks for a studio that actually knows it is time to stop for once.
This dark and brooding release from the dramatic horror mini-series In the Flesh includes all three episodes of the show, following the story of a zombie teenager who's been part of a mass-scale zombie rehabilitation program, forcing him to return to the family that rejected him when he became undead.

Anyone with a slant against British television should try to overlook it for this one. If you are looking for a zombie horror story this is not it. However it is great for what it is. This turns the zombie genre on its ear. It brings the zombies back to "life" and asks questions about how they would deal with their deaths and what they had done as zombies. How can they live among those they left behind and will the living allow them to, and etc. It is much deeper than the usual gore-fest. It isn't the zombie apocolypse but what happens after. It is a well thought out new spin I truely recommend.

it's mostly the familiar character study of a family where the parents are divorced and the children disfunctional. Greg Kinnear plays much the same character as most of his movies but especially "Feast of Love". Jennifer Connelly is also her norm. The parents try to hard to be hip and unconventional as parents and maudlin as love interests. The movie is saved mostly by the actors who play the children and their interactions with their peers. The ending is of course familiar and touching but slightly too easy. Still a warm movie and mostly enjoyable.

The plot was surprisingly thought out. Refreshing subject matter instead of the same old rehash. A few jokes went too far in gross out factor or just didn't connect. Actors are not the same faces we have been beaten to death with lately, except Rob Cordry, and I enjoyed that. You can tell the budget is a little down range but fairly enjoyable if you are just watching for enjoyment sake. Watch after Scary Movie V and this will look like a blockbuster.

Scary Movie has always been one of my favorite parody series. Even hard core fans have to admit that there is little to nothing left in the tank though. Most of the humor wasn't even well thought out, just crude. The movies it makes fun of were awful enough without humorlessly rehashing them. The only funny part was the Lindsay Lohan/Charlie Sheen cameo. Only buy this to round out your collection of Scary Movie unless you are afraid it might taint the rest of your collection.

I think this is a good rom-com no matter who you are. Beautiful film locations and an obviously talented DP. Nice backstory about how ethnic differences can complicate a relationship make this more than just frothy mindless fare.
