Great game, but not Resident Evil

Ok, so first thing first... if you go into this expecting a Resident Evil game to mysteriously appear, you will be disappointed. That being said, this game shows few signs of being a true Resident Evil title. Capcom could have easily gotten away with making this a prequel game with another title. The enemies/monsters are more reminiscent of earlier failed attempts of bio-weapons than anything we have seen before, and most importantly... there are no zombies present whatsoever. This is a game that often imitates the recent jump scare type of fodder, and occasional pulls that off rather well. So if that's what you're looking for then you'll be good, but with the shallow references to Resident Evil... better luck next time getting a true sequel to the franchise.

I think this is one of the few movies that freaked me out in recent years. That is probably because I fell asleep the first time I watched it, and woke up near the end only to realize that I missed something. It's not a boring movie at all, I just watched it when I was tired expecting something not so good. If you like good movies then this is one to get.

I have played all of the Uncharted games, and this game is just more good fun. Aside from the few new gameplay mechanics, anyone who has played any of these games will be able to jump right in. There is a brief tutorial in the beginning of the game, to help players through some early levels, but other than that it's the usual fare here. Enjoy! I know I am.

The fourth outing of Daniel Craig as Bond is easily the best movie of his portrayal of James Bond as it ties together his earlier three. That has never been done before with any of the previous Bonds which makes Daniel Crain's quartet even more meaningful. The re-introduction of a major villain adds a very refreshing taste of old and new.

Mortal Kombat is back with a punch. With old and new characters, and tried and true gameplay, this outing is wonderful. Personally, I would have liked to see more old faces playable in this version, but there is enough gameplay and features to keep you busy for awhile. Also, the Story Mode in this game lacks something, and you can become quickly bored with it, but other than that it is a satisfying purchase.

It's hard to duplicate a successful movie, especially when it's about the same 3 guys as the main characters. It still has it's share of funny moments, but without the impact of the original. In my opinion, it might have been better with new faces as the main characters... having to deal with their own horrible bosses.

If you're into fighting games this packs a punch

Before I get started I must say this game is not looking to win over any female players, and it's Mature rating should be noted. The Dead or Alive franchise has long been known for it's attention to detail with it's female characters. That said, this is more of the same Dead or Alive 5 from the previous generation of games. If you have any on the previous games you can upgrade those to Last Round on last generation systems. New for Last Round on PS4 are additional characters, and previously available doc. You can also upload saved data from PS3 to carry over your progress as far as unlocked costumes are concerned. With a total of 34 characters to play, this game offers a lot for it's price tag as opposed to other games in it's genre.

Nice spin-off material from Metal Gear series

As a spin-off game from the Metal Gear series this is a good entry, but I would have much rather seen the game featuring The Boss and her Cobras that was scrapped awhile back. Here the story centers around Raiden... featuring his signature swordplay fighting from Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. The developer pulled this off nicely with the exception of a quirky camera that presents some problems during the action, and some of the boss battles. The camera angle doesn't track too well with the action onscreen which may hinder the gameplay for some players. Other than that, the game is very fun to play... at least until you get to the final boss, and that's all I will say about that.
