Samsung's S4 stunner

The S4 is a really nice device, with a wide range of apps and widgets ready loaded and ready to entertain. I added the S4 Flip Cover which provides some privacy, and, most importantly, insulates the touch screen during a call, so that inadvertant actions are avoided. Call continues through two small apertures aligned with the ear and the mouth! Highly recommend this piece of technology, until a version comes to market that can melt snow and ice, this is the one for Atlanta!

What's not so great: Verizon has a hidden cost you may find annoying - data charge $360/yr, even when it is not intended to use data service

This 4k UHD display does the 'impossible'

So far, and I have not fully exercised this TV, the 3D is remarkable, better than expected. Regular TV, from the 'big' broadcasters, has better skin tones and altogether nicer images than a 5 year old Sony that was top of the range back then. Because the viewer can, and should, sit closer to the TV, the viewing is much more immersive.
The many internet choices, including quite a lot of 3D content, makes much more sense when it is easily presented, with its familiar remote control layout. The cable company here delivers internet at just over 15MBs, which is ample.

Works correctly, but overpriced

During a $4.5k tv purchase, best ever tv, this cable item was described as the best there is and the Ultra HD TV would be optimally connected". Alhough the HDMI cable works well, it showed no difference in performance than that of a (tried out of curiosity) HDMI cable that was a tenth of the price. Technically, it is possible that this expensive cable can deliver more of the digital signal than a cheaper one, but being digital, the result is either a good viewable display or nothing useable.
