It's an Amiibo

As far as the build quality goes, it seems fine. It's a nice figurine. I've never found the features that Amiibo unlock in games to be worth buying one, but I like them as collectibles.

Basically, you buy this card and use the code inside to add points to your NIntendo eShop account. But it also comes with this little goomba AR card, which is a neat little bonus. Either way, it can be purchased using your Best Buy rewards certificate, so it's a good way to spend that $5 without having to spend a whole lot on something you might not really want.
The only thing I don't understand is why they don't just use a QR code instead of making you type the code in manually. Wii U and 3DS both come equipped with cameras. Why not use them?

You take the lead as your team approaches a clean new area, free of color and chaos. With a smirk, you take it all in — you'll soon change that. Two teammates begin spraying down walls, floors, ceilings and every other imaginable surface with ink, claiming this territory as your own with a vivid wash of your colors. You and another fighter scan the area for enemies. The opposition never sees you as you sneak up and douse them in an ink bath they'll never forget. This turf is all yours — it's time to move on and paint the whole world in your team's colors.Get messy with Splatoon, a fun-filled third-person action shooter that challenges you to cover levels, and enemies, with a brilliant spray of colorful ink. Take on the role of an Inkling, a squid-like fighter ready to cover yourself and everything around you with your team's hues. Cover the terrain around you in ink to claim it, and spray walls to gain access to hard-to-reach areas. Earn high-powered super weapons by soaking your turf in ink, so you can cover your enemies in color or spray more territory. Put on your thinking cap to dream up devastating strategies, but don't forget to keep an eye on your turf — too much attention on the other team may lead to a redecoration of your own territory. Easily refill your tank or hide from enemies with just a touch of a button, or transform into a squid and dive into ink for a blazing-fast speed boost. Attack your own way with a multitude of control options thanks to the Wii U GamePad controller, including gyroscopic controls that let you look around, aim and more with precision. Band together with three friends and get online to take on other teams in four-on-four matches that will have you perched on the edge of your seat. A color-soaked battle awaits — are you ready to claim your turf?

Better than I expected.

I liked the concept of Splatoon the first time I heard about it, but I was on the fence about whether I should buy it or not. But my interest in the gameplay mechanics, and the fact that a friend had picked it up, convinced me to buy a copy. The main thing I was worried about was the amount of content. There just didn't seem to be very much. In truth, there isn't. There is a comparatively short single player campaign, a two-player competitive balloon popping mode, and two types of online multi-player, both 4 vs 4. I expected to play through the single player mode in a day or two, and then play the online multi-player for a week or so before getting tired of it. That thankfully hasn't happened. While the game would be much better if it had more stages, Nintendo has been continuously adding new ones since the game's release, as well as new weapons. Even without the new content, the gameplay is fun enough that I keep coming back to it. It is technically a shooter, but because the focus is on covering surfaces with ink instead of killing the other players, it feels very fresh. It's hard to put down.
Another potential issue which I'm happy didn't end up being a problem is the consistency of online matchmaking. For the most part, the game sets matches up quickly and I seldom notice lag during a match. Sure, I get connection errors every so often, but no where near what I expected given Nintendo's track record with online games.
I do dislike some aspects of the game though. For one, you can't choose what stage to play in online. The game randomly picks two stages every other hour, and you will randomly be placed in one of those two stages during each match. In other words, you have no control over what stage you play on online. And there were times when I would see the same stage 4 times in a row because it kept getting randomly picked. I have no idea who thought this was a good idea, but I seriously hope this is changed in an update later on. Another annoyance is the fact that you can't switch weapons without exiting the online mode. And you can't choose what team you want to be on either. For a team based game, that's an odd design choice. You can choose to play with friends, but which team you end up on is randomized. This is supposed to be changed in a later update, but for now, it's annoying. How can you create team tactics when the members are randomized? As such, it's best to go for weapons that are better at covering the area with ink rather than choosing support weapons intended to pick off other players, like the rifles.
Despite its flaws, the game is, as I said, hard to put down. I love the way that swimming in ink adds so many new strategic opportunities. And because the game is about ink coverage rather than kill counts, you can sometimes do very well even if you aren't the best shot. You just have to be hard to hit yourself and ink plenty of territory as you avoid the other team. You owe it to yourself to at least try the game out. It's not perfect, but it's one of the most well executed original ideas I've seen in years.

Get it if you want to improve your 3D experience

I had the original 3DS before getting this one and wasn't sure if it was worth upgrading, but I'm mostly glad I did. If you like 3D, or would have liked it if you could have gotten the image to stay stable, that's a good reason to upgrade, because the 3D works much better here. Other than that, there is an analog nub for camera controls in certain games and two extra shoulder buttons. The processor is also faster. The main issue with most of these improvements is that most games don't make use of them. Not yet anyway. But there are a number of games that you absolutely can't play on the original 3DS because the processor couldn't handle it, but developers were able to get them running on this new system. Probably fewer than 10 altogether though.
In summary, if you have a 3DS XL, the only noteworthy improvement here is the 3D. All the other new features require games that use them, and not many games do at the moment.

Microsoft Surface Pro 4 Tablet: Use the 12.3" HD touch screen to navigate Web pages, write and upload content and play games. The kickstand makes it easy to adjust Surface Pro 4 for hands-free viewing or typing, and Wi-Fi lets you connect to the Internet quickly.

Does the Surface Pro 4 have cellular or 4G access capability? If so can it be either Verizon or Sprint ?

Not positive, but I would say no. But you could probably buy a USB adapter to allow you to connect to a cellular network.

Samsung Gear VR for Select Samsung Cell Phones: Mobile virtual reality is finally here. Watch movies in your own private cinema, be at the center of your favorite games, and socialize with friends in a virtual world all your own. The lightweight design and intuitive touchpad drop you right in the action and allow for hours of immersive entertainment.

Is it blurry view, not sharp enough?

There tends to be some blurriness around the edges of the lenses. I think that's just how the lenses work. The center is sharper, but you will probably notice that the resolution isn't super high. But if it were, the phone would be far more expensive.
