Apple Watch Series 2 is a superior sports watch that measures your workouts with detailed customizable metrics. An advanced activity tracker that shows you how often you move, exercise, and stand, and lets you share your progress. A powerful health tool that helps you be more conscious of your overall well-being, starting with your heart rate. And an all-day assistant that provides instant access to the people, apps, and information you care about most. There are cases made from aluminum and stainless steel and a full range of interchangeable bands in a variety of styles, colors, and materials. All models run watchOS 3. Requires an iPhone 5 or later.
I was on the fence about getting it. Main reasons not to get one were: 1) price and 2)"do I really need one?"
So I bit the bullet and figured I could try it out and return it if I got buyer's remorse. Yeah, I'm not returning this thing!
Critics might argue that there is no "killer app." In other words, one app that makes the device a "must have." My opinion is that the watch IS the app. The watch just makes your iPhone experience so much better. I always felt awkward and guilty when pulling out my phone during parties or other social interactions. Now, I just very naturally look at my watch. If it's something important, I excuse myself and reach for my phone. Also, when I'm at home I can leave my phone by my bed, charging. I don't need pockets and don't need to carry my phone around or have it nearby. In conclusion, it's a very natural extension, a bridge if you will, between the phone and the user. Making us a little bit more human again after the advent of becoming screen zombies.
I haven't even mentioned the activity/fitness trackers. Perfect for keeping tabs on movement and exercise.
The new Apple TV delivers an all-new experience with Touch andSiri, powerful new hardware, and great content, games, and more on the App Store. The Touch surface on the new Siri Remote offers innovative ways to interact with your TV, creating a connected experience with a screen that's across the room. With Siri, finding something to watch is as easy as just asking. And with apps, Apple TV allows you to customize your TV for personal and shared experiences in the living room.
I own a 3rd gen Apple TV which I still use an love, and this is just an even better version. Great remote, fast response, and AirPlay runs flawlessly. We cut the cord several years ago and now use the Apple TV almost daily. Tons of free content out there, but I recommend subscribing to Sling TV for an economical and decent replacement for cable.
