The Fatal Hour was the fourth entry in Monogram's "Mr. Wong" series, based on the gentlemanly oriental detective created by Hugh Wiley. Boris Karloff returns as Wong, supported by Grant Withers as dyspeptic police captain Street and Marjorie Reynolds as brash gal reporter Bobbie Logan. On this occasion, Mr. Wong investigates the murder of a police officer, nearly ending up murdered himself during a climactic jewelry-store robbery. The principal suspect is Belden (Craig Reynolds), the son of a crooked businessman (John Hamilton) whose perfidy has apparently caused all the trouble in the first place. The Fatal Hour was scripted by Joseph West, a pseudonym for director George Waggner (who didn't direct this one).

This series of detective yarns is by no means spectacular and none stand out from the rest but I like them. They are done respectably and though sometimes bland are entertaining enough. If you want color, modern acting and gratuitous violence, then watchwatch those kind of movies. This series of movies is worth the $5 dollar price per movie.

Do you like old black and white movies? Spy stories with some comic elements? This is a gem with Warren William as the Lone Wolf and Eric Blore as his man Jameson. Sheldon Leonard and Ann Savage co-star in this spy comedy/drama set in Alexandria Egypt during World War II. There are some minor players as espionage specialists who do a respectable job and add flavor to the plot. The creepy "Rembrandt" is the best of these. You'll love to hate him early on.

This purchase has been a surprise. I did a pretty thorough search prior to making this purchase. My goal was cost vs. volume...period. Since I planned to use this thing at work and the noise level is significant I needed a stereo that could push the sound out. But the problem was I needed a unit that was not delicate or expensive since dust is a factor in my work environment. Enter the Samsung Giga 1600 watt System. I don't care a sniff that this thing is plastic, not really a true 1600 watts, not audiophile worthy....blah, blah, blah. After 6 months in a dusty loud manufacturing facility this thing is still running strong and I am constantly getting comments from fellow workers asking where I got this stereo that blasts the music. I would recommend that if like me you use your phone to play music that you use a bluetooth function (thank you Samsung) to connect as it is far and away superior to the aux connection. Put this thing in stadium mode and put in your earplugs folks. It gets loud!

Take your existing CDs and burn them onto these discs so they last longer while maintaining the original quality. This Verbatim CD-R 50-pack is great as a reliable media storage option.

These discs are an inexpensive name brand choice. When I made this purchase they were actually cheaper than the store brand. This package may contain more discs than you want to purchase but the price per disc is so competitive it's hard to pass them up.
