Perfect Budget Portable Keyboard

When it comes to computer peripherals Logitech sits at the top of the mountain to which they have only proven that here with this more budget travel keyboard.
I initially was hesitant with so much of the keyboard material being recycled, but I have to applaud Logitech here as this feels like a premium keyboard right out of the box. The keyboard has a firm solid feel to it. Logitech always thinks of the little things as the non-slip grips on the bottom and retractable stands allow for multiple use cases. Then one small thing I love with this keyboard is that the spot to hold the Bluetooth dongle is held within the battery compartment so you don’t have to worry about it accidentally falling out when traveling.
All this does not go to say that Logitech didn’t fully consider usability as that shines here too. Firstly, syncing devices was quick and easy to which switching between them is even easier with the dedicated keys versus the usual toggle switch that most keyboards use. The use of shortcut keys is where this keyboard really shines though as the usual music controls are there, but the snipping tool key is amazing for work related purposes as I find myself using this a lot! However, if these are not to your liking the Logi Options+ app takes this a step further as it allows the user to customize a multitude of keys, buttons, and shortcuts to whatever your liking may be.
Overall, the usability here really shines as all these various facets bundled together to go along with the near silent typing and portability aspects create the perfect budget keyboard not only for travel purposes, but even for desktop use too.

Sleek with Fast Refresh Rate

Nowadays as PC gaming continues to grow, the number of peripherals only continues to grow as well. After testing numerous brands, ASUS continues to come out on top as they have only continued to do so here with this monitor.
First, right of the box, it is evident that corners were not cut when it comes to build quality. Upon attaching the stand (hardware / tools included) I did not have any hesitancies with how sturdy it was. The minimal bezels and sleek design on the back definitely show the thoughtfulness put into the aesthetics of the monitor.
Where this monitor really shines though is upon powering it up with the vast features that are included. First, with the LED IPS display, colors are extremely bright and vivid. To go along with the visuals are the 180hz refresh rate and 1ms response time resulting in minimum lag and blur. The added FreeSync capability only expands on this to help eliminate stuttering. Obviously with all these features it’s tough to stop at times and thus the anti-glare and flicker-free technology allow for longer gaming sessions as they reduce glare and reduce eye strain. Also to assist in longer gameplay sessions are the built in speakers because when my headset died the speakers came in handy as speakers in monitors seem to be few and far between anymore.
Two more features I do have to mention are the Shadow Boost and GamePlus features. First with the Shadow Boost it is exactly as it sounds where during gameplay sessions when you encounter dark areas the image is enhanced while at the same time not over exposing the bright areas. Then the two GamePlus features that are unique to ASUS that I have to mention are the ability to see real time the frames per second and refresh rate because this is reassuring to make sure my PC and monitor are running as they should for maximum use.
Overall, this monitor not only stands out in appearance, but also does so when it comes to performance. Some may complain that it is not 4K to which if you expect all of these features on a 4K monitor then the price would be five times as much as this monitor. Thus, with the vast variety of features on this monitor it sets itself apart in the budget monitor category and therefore I would definitely recommend this monitor for any PC gamer.

Minimalistic and Efficient

Printers are one of those things that everyone needs and has yet never seem to work seamlessly. However, Brother is the exception to this issue as they have always seemed to serve me well compared to other brands. This printer is no exception as it works absolutely flawlessly.
First, right out of the box this printer has a minimalistic appearance with the matte black. The form factor is also extremely minimal which was a nice feature considering the features of this printer. You can also tell it is a quality printer as it is not so lightweight as to where it feels as though it is just made of cheap plastic.
Moving onto the actual performance though setup was amazingly simple! It was essentially just plug and play. Using the usb cable printing is quick and efficient, but printing wirelessly was also just as simple here as each of my computers/laptops did not have an issue connecting with the printer. The mobile printing feature also worked without any issues as printing from my tablet and phone could not be any easier. The ability of this printer to print so quickly at such a high volume is absolutely great! The tray holds up to 250 sheets where it prints just over 30 pages per minute so it was extremely quick printing off those larger projects. The duplex printing feature here is also one of those must have features as having to hassle with flipping pages never works as it should on the first try so you just avoid that hassle all together here. Only having the printer a week I can`t speak for the longevity of the toner cartridge, but I can guarantee it will last much longer than any inkjet printer you have to deal with plus it won`t end up drying out either.
Overall, you really can`t go wrong with this printer from it`s form factor to ease of use, printing speed, and multiple printing methods. For those looking for a printer that is going to last and be easily usable for everyone in your household or business, this is definitely the way to go!

Visually Stunning with Superior Performance

Vacuums are a dime a dozen, but for those looking for the top of the line, LG has not disappointed with this model. From the aesthetics to the performance this vacuum exceeds all expectations.
Firstly, right out of the box you can tell this is a premium product as it is not made entirely of just cheap plastic. It has a premium feel to it and the base is extremely sturdy where I did not have any issues with it being unsteady or falling over. Assembly was quick and easy as it comes nearly fully assembled so I was up in running in just five minutes. The look of the vacuum it is great, but the interior storage compartments for the accessories is an extremely useful feature so that they are not out in the open.
Moving onto the performance though is where this vacuum really shines! This thing handled everything I threw at it as it picked up everything from our hardwood floors and longer thread carpet. The battery life was the most amazing feature as after nearly 50 minutes the battery was still going. I will say that it did take about 3 hours to recharge the battery, but it did not matter as the 50-60 minute battery life is all I need. The other great feature I have to mention is how light the vacuum is as it is a breeze to use and especially when you detach the stick of the vacuum to use it in handheld mode it is extremely light and portable compared to some others in this category that are more clunky. The extendable wand length was also extremely useful in handheld mode for those hard to reach places.
The first feature that sets this vacuum apart is the self-emptying dust-bin. This is such a convenient feature as it not only results in the dust you just sweep up being released back into the air, but it also helps in keeping the vacuum as light as possible for it alleviates any dust retained in the sweeper while using. The filters of the vacuum are great in that the pre-filter is washable that reduces the need to purchase filters on a constant basis. There`s also a "Kompressor" feature that compresses the dust in the bin to reduce the need to go put the vacuum back on the base during use.
Overall, this vacuum has it all from its appearance to its performance. The self-emptying dust bin, washable filters, and "Kompressor" really set this vacuum apart. Along with the performance and how light the vacuum is it checks all the boxes completely! For these reasons I would strongly recommend this product to those looking for a high end vacuum with all the bells and whistles!

Sleek with Resonating Clarity

Today many people opt for headphones while gaming on their PC, but for those of us that prefer to utilize speakers these speakers by Razer should definitely be at the top of your list. The minimalism paired with the performance definitely set them at the top.
Right out of the box I was quick to note actually how large these speakers were. That is not to say they were made of just cheap flimsy plastic as the speakers have a heft to them and a feel that throws off a sense of quality. The speakers give off a sleek appearance with their matte black color that blends in nicely on any desk and gives a sophisticated appearance.
Setting these up was extremely quick as well for there is a power cable from one speaker that is to plug into an outlet, a cable to connect from one speaker to your PC, and then finally a cable to connect between the two speakers. So overall, there are three cables to handle when it comes to cable management which may deter some. However, it was quick and easy to get everything up and running.
Once everything was connected I launched a variety of games, songs, and movies to put these speakers through their paces. The outcome was exceptional as the clarity of these speakers is unmatched even when turning the volume up to higher levels. The bass is the only item where it appears there was some slight lacking though I presume the reason for this is that the intention is for you to purchase the corresponding subwoofer. However, that by no means goes to say you would not be satisfied with these speakers!
Two key features I do have to mention are the THX spatial audio and game profiles. With the spatial audio this is more of a surround sound feature geared to 7.1 surround sound, but is implemented here fairly effectively even with just the two speakers. You can definitely notice to an extent the positional accuracy of various sounds. This ties into the game profiles as the spatial audio is integrated into newer games so that these newer titles are built uniquely to benefit from this surround sound.
Overall though, some may state that the price is high, but from the build quality and aesthetics to the actual performance of these speakers there is little left to be desired. For those looking for a set of PC speakers that will provide the utmost clarity at any sound level these are a no brainer!

Simple & Refined Organization

As you get older and start having kids, organization and coordinating events is one of the biggest hurdles. This calendar has helped with that immensely for my family!
Firstly, right out of the box I was extremely impressed with the build quality as it was not simply a cheap plastic frame. It has some heft to it and the materials feel premium. You can thus mount the calendar to the wall or simply used the provided stand to set it on a counter which was the route I elected to take. Using the stand it is very sturdy and I have not had any issues with anyone using it and it falling over. I will say that it provides an elegant look as opposed to a tablet sitting on your counter.
So after I had it unboxed and had it set on the counter I embarked on the setup to which when it comes to syncing calendars that always is difficult for some reason to which here it was absolutely seamless! The app you are to download has definitely been put through its paces as it is extremely user friendly and made syncing both my iCloud calendar and google calendar a breeze. Once the calendars were synced there are multiple views (day, week, month) to which I settled on the weekly view. The days throughout the week show each of the events that can be color coded based on specific individuals/activities which was a great feature.
Aside from the calendar feature I also use the list features specifically with a chore chart and list of meals for the week. This allows the kids to easily see their various chores and check those off as they are completed to which modifying those is extremely easy for my wife and I. Then with the meals this only adds another facet for everyone to easily communicate dinner plans each night.
With inputting information into the calendar/lists the ability to do so both in the app and on the physical calendar is great. I had envisioned entering things on the calendar would be bulky and cumbersome, but it is very interactive and responsive when typing in items/events.
Overall, if you are a family looking for greater organization this product is exactly for you. The lists feature allows for endless possibilities as to those unique things for each family that may pop up. However, the calendar feature on its own is a true selling point here as the simplicity and user-friendliness definitely set it apart from any competitors.

Superior Aesthetics & Portability

Nowadays laptops seem to fit into two realms, the massive gaming laptops and those slim portable laptops to which this definitely fits into that second category where it excels with its price. I am most definitely impressed by its design and portability.
Right out of the gate when unboxing this laptop you can tell it is a quality product as it has that premium feel. The lid being aluminum is what I appreciated the most as it wasn`t simply a cheap plastic laptop. Then the other thing I noticed unboxing the laptop was how light this laptop was as it is extremely light at only 2.5 lbs and thus easy to carry around, making it ideal for school, travel, or work.
Upon opening the laptop, I will say I love the ability to open a laptop with just one finger which I`m glad they incorporated here with such a light laptop. Again, here you have to appreciate the aesthetics of that minimal design with the modern clean appearance. The keyboard does not include a number pad due to the size of the laptop, but the usability of the keyboard is perfect as the keys have the perfect amount of travel and are extremely smooth. Also, the fingerprint reader is a nice touch. The one knock I have here is that the keyboard is not backlit, but I suppose for its intended purposes this hopefully is not something that leaves to be desired by too many people. The trackpad is the other component that has a nice feel to it and is extremely responsive.
When powering up the laptop setup was a breeze. The specs here fall right in line with that budget category and are more than enough for everyday tasks as if you are one that is focused on gaming that is a whole separate product category. However, when it comes to Word/Excel documents, browsing the web, and answering emails this does it all. This laptop was definitely built for productivity just by looking at the 3:2 aspect ratio whereas if you do plan to watch a lot of videos or movies a widescreen laptop may be better for you. However, with this aspect ratio it works great for those using Word/Excel as opposed to other laptops with a widescreen aspect ratio. Some may complain that there isn`t enough storage or horsepower under the hood here, but it has tackled all of the things I have needed for everyday work projects. Again, if you`re gaming or need a supercomputer to edit 4K videos this probably isn`t for you, but for the rest of us everyday users it fits the bill perfectly from a power standpoint. The two areas that are just a little less than perfect are the 720p webcam and display that is just under 1080p as both don`t have the greatest resolution, but they get the job done without any detrimental issues. On the other hand, the tradeoff of this is an increased battery life where this laptop lasts me an entire day of work on a charge and supposedly lasts up to 15 hours. With this is the fast-charging capability as when my laptop starts to get low it gets right back up to 80% in less than an hour on the charger.
Overall, I think the Surface Laptop Go 3 is a great laptop for anyone who is looking for a stylish, portable, and versatile device that can handle everyday tasks. It may not be the most powerful or the most feature-rich laptop, but the value you get here is tremendous and for that reason I definitely would not hesitate to recommend it.

New Look - Same Great Alienware Quality

Desktop PCs for gaming seem to be a dime a dozen nowadays, but Alienware always seems to claw it`s way to the top of the market. The old design had been getting stale where Alienware has raised the bar here with its new look version while retaining the same great performance.
Right away out of the box you can tell this is a quality product as it is not made with flimsy plastic and some metal thrown in on the case. They have definitely taken their time to consider build quality and the overall aesthetics. The look of the PC is even better in person as the more geometric shape and black color with neon RGB give the desktop that simple futuristic look that isn`t too obnoxious like other gaming PCs. Also, the much smaller case as opposed to the prior model is greatly appreciated! Then from a performance standpoint the ventilation on the top and side definitely is a plus. With all Alienware PCs they are again extremely generous with the ports and the one I do have to applaud them on are all the audio ports on the back allowing for a vast variety of options there. The one nitpick here would be to even out the number of USB-A and USB-C ports as there are 9 USB-A (5 3.2 ports and 4 2.0 ports) and only 3 USB-C ports. Aside from that though the build quality, look, and usability all seem to be top notch.
Onto the actual performance though. As long as you are not playing at a 4K resolution this thing will take anything you can throw at it as my preference is 1440p with frame rates ranging from 80 to 140 depending on what was happening and what other settings (ray tracing & DLSS) I had turned on though most of the time it did settle in the middle of that range. Another thing to mention with this PC and its 1TB SSD is that it offers plenty of speed and storage where you won`t need to ask for any more than what it has provided here. One of the biggest things I have to highlight about this PC is how cool and quiet this it runs due to the much improved ventilation coupled with the liquid cooling for the CPU and superior cable management.
Overall, from the aesthetics to the performance this PC checks all the boxes. The vast improvements in the form factor coupled with the greater ventilation on the case create that whisper quiet PC we all are looking for. That doesn`t go to say that the performance is dialed down as you still get that great Alienware performance that we all come to expect. I highly recommend this desktop to anyone who is looking for both a powerful and reliable gaming computer.

2nd Generation with Massive Improvements

When the Ray Ban Stories first came out I was amazed with the technology in the glasses and with Meta`s second generation here they have only expanded on that technology in ways that this may potentially be the next big thing that everyone "must have."
First right out of the box these sunglasses are exactly what you would expect from a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses as the look, feel, and fit are all top notch. By collaborating with Ray Ban I feel Meta has definitely made a great decision as there is a reason Ray Ban sunglasses are some of the most sold. The other major thing to note here is the vast improvement in the case as previously it was more of a blocky case whereas now the new case looks nearly identical to your traditional leather Ray Ban case. The led indicator on the outside where the clasp goes is also a nice subtle touch.
Moving onto the actual usability there is definitely a lot to unpack here. First, pairing the glasses to your phone is absolutely seamless with the sue of the Meta View app. Here you can tell Meta specializes in smartphone apps as this app is so easy to use. Also, one thing to mention is battery life as these made it through multiple hours of use and I did not have to charge the case at all throughout the week.
Next was looking at how easy it would be to use these and to start off I started with the audio component and listened to a variety of songs to which the sound is definitely an upgrade from the prior version and I will say even with the improved sound there is very little, if any, leakage in sound for others to hear. Supposedly the touch pad on the side of the glasses is larger this time around and I can say I did not have any issues using any of the touch controls when using them for play feedback whereas in the previous version it did occur occasionally where I would go to turn up or down the volume and it wouldn`t register so a definite upgrade again here.
Moving onto the actual camera/video component of these glasses I was thoroughly impressed with the improvements as yea it may not be as good as your $1,000 smartphone camera, but the differences are negligible. The video component is where these really shine though as it is exceptional! My biggest concern for wearable cameras is the stabilization component and Meta has done a great job here as it is barely noticeable with the video not bobbing around all over as you film. Also, the transition from lighting situations (outside to inside of a building) is seamless as there is no adjustment/focus period here. The microphone for filming is also exceptional as this time around they have used five microphones where when filming it films in spatial audio to which when you play the video back you can actually here the various sounds occurring in different areas when you captured the video. In regard to the microphones with two of them being on the nose piece it is naturally closer to your mouth so when talking it is crystal clear.
The last item I have to mention is the voice assistant / AI. This allows you to simply speak and tell the glasses to take a picture or start a video to which this feature worked seamlessly. It also allows you to ask more simple questions in my experience and even creates automated captions for you as well. The feature I really hope they deliver on is that they promised a feature where you can look at something and ask a specific question pertaining to that item and it will answer accordingly. Again, this may be one of those pie in the sky ideas, but my hope is still intact.
Overall, with the breadth of advancements from the first generation I again come away thoroughly impressed as I was with the previous product. Everyone scoffed at Bluetooth headphones and smart watches when they first came out, but nowadays they are evident everywhere to which I believe this may be that next true "must have" item. I feel that virtual reality may be too far off in the future, but Meta`s advances in virtual reality are evident here in a more inconspicuous way.

Great Keypad & Another Subscription

I have always been a major proponent of Chamberlin garage door openers and it seems as though they are continuing to build out their various product offerings with added smart features to which this keypad does exactly that perfectly!
Right out of the box you can tell that this is a premium product as it is not simply made of cheap flimsy plastic and just feels like a premier product. Upon getting started the biggest hurdle was charging the keypad in order to get it setup as it does take a few hours to fully charge. However, upon getting it fully charged it took less than 10 minutes to get it mounted and all set up through the app. The one place that Chamberlin truly shines is through their MyQ app as installing and maintaining all their products through one unified app is so easy and absolutely seamless.
Upon getting the keypad set up though I did look around in the app to test the various features. The app provides a multitude of features including changing the motion sensitivity of the camera, adjusting options for night vision, adjusting the volume for the two way communication, turning the microphone on/off, and establishing pins for the door. I will say the ability to setup multiple pins was a great feature that I definitely have taken advantage off and when it pops up in the app you can even see who has open/closed the door.
Onto the actual performance though I was thoroughly impressed with both the quality of the video and audio of the keypad. The video was much clearer than I expected and with the night vision you can easily identify faces. The other feature I really liked with the keypad was the Home button where you can simply press that button to close the door without having to type in a code.
There are two potential qualms with this keypad though that prevented me from giving it five stars. The first is minor, but is more of a hassle as charging the keypad evolves taking it entirely apart to charge the battery pack though hopefully charging is few and far between. The bigger issue though is the requirement for a subscription in order to fully utilize the camera. Today with the mounting number of subscriptions an onboard storage option would have been nice to see as I am unsure if I want to pay another annual subscription just to fully utilize the video features.
Overall though, this keypad is still top notch especially for the initial price as the install is a breeze, the app makes setup and use extremely easy, and the breadth of features cover everything you could ask for. For those reasons I would recommend this to nearly everyone and if you don`t have an issue paying the annual subscription fee then it is a must buy.

What are the dimensions of the included soundbar bracket(s)? Any recommendation for position of the soundbar in relation to the TV (Q60T) such that the up/out projection of sound is not blocked by the TV if the soundbar is mounted to the brackets/wall.
The bracket is 2 feet wide and 2 inches tall. The manual recommends mounting it at least 2 inches under your TV, but I would recommend 3 as you would not want any sound reverberating off your TV when it uses Dobly Atmos.

No, I currently use it with an LG and it works perfectly.

The bracket is 2 feet wide and about 2 inches tall. The manual mentions mounting at least 2 inches below the TV though I would recommend about 3 inches just to be sure as you would not want to block the sound that reverberates off the ceiling when using Atmos.
