I have a firestick for my living room and was so pleased I bought two more. Just plug into the hdmi port, attach a power cord, and you are done.
This gives you access to most video streaming services ( Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc) and works great with a solid Wifi connection. I have Fios and the streaming is instant and stable. My Mom has a much slower 10Mbps wifi, so occasionally there are some buffering issues, but it's really infrequent.
I also have an Apple TV. The firestick performs the same functions as the Apple TV but doesn't have access to your ITunes or IPhone content. If that's important to you, get the Apple TV. But if you have Amazon prime, Hulu or Netflix subscriptions the fire stick works great.
Best Buy and Amazon occasionally run special pricing on the device at $24.99. It's too good for tv watchers and cord cutters to pass up.

Add an additional 100' to the range of your remote. This system extends the range of any IR remote — even through walls, ceilings and floors.

Gets the job done

All of the media components in my home theater are hidden in an enclosed closet, including the IR transmitter for a Logitech universal remote. This works fine to control the components inside the closet, but I needed to get a signal outside to the mounted projector on the ceiling. The projector is about 15 feet away from the closet and I didn't want the hassle of installing IR cables through the walls and ceilings.
This product allowed me to set up a transmitter In the closet and relay the remote control signal to the projector wirelessly.
The set up was easy. I just plugged in the transmitter near the IR device in the closet, and placed the receiver on top of the projector. Both need a power source. It's a little bulky (a little bigger than a hockey puck) but small enough to hide behind most AV components. It comes with a lengthy IR cable with 3 nodes to attach to three devices. I only need one for the projector.
Once installed it worked right away. No lag time in performance or any issues with the signal.
I can't confirm the maximum distance/range of the product, but will say it works flawlessly at 15-20 feet.

I needed a new HD receiver for my home theater set up with multiple, high speed HDMI inputs. I have a 5.1 surround sound system, so this fit the bill.
Set up was easy. Plug and play. The best feature is the auto calibrating microphone that comes with the unit. Once all connections were made, I plugged in the mic and started the system calibration. 60 seconds later the receiver had completed testing my room acoustics and had adjusted the sound setting to best work with my space. It sounds really good.
I'm using three of the hdmi inputs and Bluetooth for my music. switching is easy. The unit works well with a Logitech remote and doesn't have a ton of functions or buttons so it's simple to use.
I don't listen to AM/FM radio much so I didn't even connect the included antenna.
A solid, entry level receiver perfect for home use, at a great price. Don't expect a ton of features like on more pro units, like multiple output options or 7.2 surround sound.

I bought this remote to control my home theater setup. I have a projector, receiver, set top box, game console, and fire tv stick hidden out of sight in a closet. With this product, I was able to set up a single button to start or stop each activity. For instance, I set up one button to turn on the projector/receiver/set top box to watch tv. I set up another button to switch on the projector/receiver/Xbox combo for gaming.
The whole thing took about 30 mins to set up using my IPhone and a stable wi-fi connection. I just positioned the remote receiver near my equipment, then installed the Logitech app. The instructions on the app are very clear and walk you through the process.
Once set up was complete I had two remotes. The physical remote that came in the box and/or my iPhone app, which also works as a remote from anywhere. If you leave the tv to answer the door, you can turn everything off with the app and leave the house without going back to the room.
Great purchase, works flawlessly.

Good product but didn't work for me

I had Best Buy deliver and install this projector in my home theater. On time delivery, quick ceiling installation and courteous service.
Once installed, I immediately noticed the sharp picture quality. The image was impressive out of the box with plenty of brightness for my light controlled room. We tested using a HD signal from my xbox, and I could see a big difference in picture quality over my old 12000:1 contrast Sony projector.
The only problem for me was the throw distance. My ceiling mount and cables are about 14' from a permanent 100" screen. The zoom on the projector couldn't fit the entire image on the screen without physically adjusting the distance of the projector. I elected to return and go with another model with lens shift and longer throw distance. Projector central has a calculator for all projectors that will show the optimal distance. Wish I had double checked before the purchase.
I would recommend this product for clear, sharp picture at a reasonable price.

I needed to replace an old 37 inch LCD that had served us well as a second tv. I found this tv on the showroom floor and was shocked at the price for the features and image quality. 50" 1080p picture for $299. A week later it was on sale for $249 and Best Buy credited the difference.
I installed in about 15 mins using my existing wall mount. This TV weighs less than the 37" I replaced. Excellent picture and sound right out of the box. It has several picture modes, but the standard mode was perfect for my light controlled room. The remote is straight forward to use, and I never needed any instructions for operation or setup.
I have a PS4 and Xbox one connected and gaming is smooth with no issues.
This is a great option if you are looking to upgrade your smaller TV at a good price.

Is this receiver Bluetooth compatible with iPhone 5s
It should work with any Bluetooth device. Just pair and go.
It was a little tricky to pair with my iPhone. I had to look up online first and discovered that I needed to press and hold the button on the receiver while pairing.
