Usable, but beware of opening for the first time

This certainly gets the job done for its price, and while it only is apparently suitable for the monitor display (and not an entire device itself), there's very little residue you have to clean up afterwards. I will say I notice a lot of cleaner liquid in mine when I accidentally stored it upside down for a hour before I finally used it. It's not a huge deal, but keep in mind.

Sturdy and highly functional iPad Air case

I bought this case when I first purchased the iPad Air (for which I also have a review on here), because I had that need to really protect my expensive investment. The case, once set up, is extremely well built. Holding the case while using it gives a real sense that this iPad is well protected from all of the small interruptions that can potentially damage the iPad's quality. Some reviewers (not just here) have complained about the added weight, but it is honestly a non-issue once it's used for a while, meaning you won't notice the iPad being any heavier than before.
The included detachable "shell", which can attached on either side of the iPad to protect its front or back, makes this purchase even better. Not only does it provide another layer of protection, but it also doubles as a two-position stand for the iPad that you can lay on a flat surface.
Setting this case up was a bit confusing, since the instruction manual was not detailed as I thought it was. In addition, once you place the iPad Air inside the case, you'll wonder about the difficulty of taking it back out (should you ever have the need to). Also, there is dust that accumulates from behind the case's screen protector, but it doesn't become noticeable once the screen is on and in use.

A premium tablet for everyone

The iPad is, by many counts, the best overall tablet out there, and if you can afford to pay the premium for a 64GB (or above), then using the tablet will be a very joyous and issue-free experience. It certainly has been for me. The screen quality is top-notch with vibrant colors and clarity, and everything from pictures to movies to even menus look beautifully detailed. It's very responsive to touch, and does a great job with deciphering between certain types of taps. With the right apps, it can replace a lot of what a PC can do, but keep in mind that it doesn't have all of the features to be a full replacement yet, for those who are thinking about using this versus a laptop. There's no doubt you can be productive on the iPad (ex. Word documents, data sheets, etc.), but just know that you'll run into a lot of very small nuances that you can only find on a laptop.
The whole tablet itself is so delicate and luxurious. The feel is so great, I had the need to really protect my investment by getting an OtterBox case along with it as well. This may not sit well with people who are not fans of tablet cases, but, for me, I wasn't ready to completely smear and keep my iPad bare, so I got a very sturdy protective case to make using this the perfect peace-of-mind tablet experience.
